We stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the decor and food. We had the meat and two and a cheeseburger and fries. I wish I had taken pics of their holiday decor! It was really cute with lots of snowmen and a tree decorated with wonder bears and stuffed bear topper.

Randomly selected it, but very glad we did. Just off the main road, and doesn't look like much from the outside. But the food was great and the service was excellent. I had a burger (don't order the double like I did...it's cheap but too thick to eat!), my wife had the reuben. Both were excellent. Sides are plentiful, from... More

We were on a shopping trip to Etowah with my wife's sister and her husband. Then it was time for lunch and I remembered a restaurant that we'd eaten at a few years ago and we decided to give it a try. The Farmhouse Restaurant in Etowah is a popular local place to eat. One would think that in order... More

The food was average. Needed to be heated up more. However, the dust in the place was terrible. If you have allergies, do not plan to eat there and do not use the women's restroom or you will suffer an allergy attack!

We each had a lunch platter. Meatloaf, fried pork chop and chicken and dumpling all tasted pre cooked and average as were the sides of okra, pea salad and cornbread. Lots of sugar in the gravies. Service exceptional.

Just 1/2 block off 411, we found The Farmhouse that featured country cooking. My pot roast was cooked to perfection, and the white beans, turnip greens and cornbread were delicious. The country corn was a little too sweet for my taste. My apple dumpling was mouth-watering good.

Our group pair the visit to the Hiwassee Rail Adventure. It was a perfect choice. The homey restaurant complemented the culture we had on the train. I have never felt so warmly welcomed in any restaurant especially since there were 62 of us. The food was amazingly fresh and tasted like Mom just prepared it. All the vegetables were awesome.... I LOVE this place! Perfect southern place in a little country town. It's family owned and operated. When you go in you're treated like family. The service is great and the food yummy. It's always so hard for me to decide what to get there. I've never had any complaints about any of it. The decor is beautiful, also a... More
