The Chef has been a local favorite in Cleveland, TN for many, many years. In all that tie the food has never been better! My family visits every Saturday morning that we're in town. My wife gets the tenderloin biscuit, I get the steak & egg, and the daughter (our 9 year old Weimaraner Daisy) gets a sausage biscuit. This... More

If you liked the burgers you had when in high school then this is the place for you. I tried it for the first time today and for sure the last unless I come back for the chicken biscuits for breakfast that everyone raves about on here. The burger patty is frozen and pretty much tastes like soybean. the fries... More

Best biscuits you will ever get your hands on. I could make this post a mile long about The Chef. Just do yourself a favor an try all the biscuits. Chicken gravy is a life changer. Every biscuit I've ever had just says "I'm the best you'll ever have". It doesn't get better period.

Ate lunch at The Chef today and it reminded me of long ago days when you stopped at a "mom & pop" hamburger joint and got a filling sandwich, with great onion rings and refreshing shakes. Great place! Wish I had visited sooner. I swear that we shared with half of the ambulance drivers in Cleveland this afternoon. My husband's... More

This place has the best of the best chicken biscuit. I was so so amazed at good the chicken was and the biscuit was soft and fluffy. It was the best start of my morning by far. The only issue is the wait time, but then again what do you expect from such a delicious establishment.

Chicken and Gravy Biscuit is the best! I will go across town just to get it! If you go through the drive thru, they dont speak clearly, but this is a locals type of place.

My wife and I tried this place out this morning based on the reviews. We are still trying to find out go to breakfast spot in town. The service was friendly and the food was ok. We both got the breakfast platter, one with ham and one with bacon. The hash rounds were VERY greasy. I will say that the... More
