This is my first negative review, and I regret having to make it for a restaurant i once considered a favorite. I travel to Chattanooga about once a month, and I almost always make a visit to St. John's. On my last visit, I made...More

We hosted a small business group for dinner. Particularly liked the venison and seared duck. Accompaniments were very well matched farm to table creations featuring roasted eggplant (like mashed potato), chow chow, split okra. All very good. Try their vanilla ice cream for a rush...More

For many of our anniversary dinners my wife and I always planned to visit St Johns. We always sit at the upstairs table by the window. However, the past two years our evening was less that what we had grown accustomed to experiencing. The noise...More

Great for business and dates. Very high end dining, excellent selection of dishes, wine; fine dining at its best. Unexpected for sure in the warehouse district but worth heading over if you want to spoil yourself!

Wonderful food, thoughtful flavor profiles. Snapper was grilled to perfection! Attentive service without being oppressive.

Service began a bit slow, but then everything was excellent! My husband had the Venison and I had the Filet. Warning, the fillet is rather large serving, I couldn't eat it all. The highlight of the mean though was the Pork Belly app. If you...More

Forgot the most important part of my answer - the owner came by and introduced himself . He seems especially nice. Bet if you contact him in advance, he will help you plan a special evening!

When in doubt, I would just call them and ask, but I would make a reservation. Even IF it's usually unnessary, you never know what large group might walk in and fill up the table you would have had.😉 Our dinner was a good... More
