Great food and service. A pimento cheese appetizer and gumbo appetizer very good. The rainbow trout was especially good too.

We have always liked 1885 but we were blown away tonight. Mike was our waitor and the experience was incredible. We have been underwhelmed by nice restaurants in Chattanooga lately, but tonight was a terrific experience.

The families gathered for brunch to see the newly weds off on their honeymoon. Great tasting chicken and waffles. The most unusual biscuit we have ever seen. It was a large square. Hubby said it was ok.

The food was excellent, well cooked and seasoned, and the service was also very good. It has some history and the staff took the time to explain it to us. We would go again.

We went to this restaurant for lunch after we rode the Lookout Mountain Incline. Both are in the St. Elmo area of Chattanooga. The restaurant had nice seating outdoors, a great atmosphere both inside and out, but sorry, the food was just average. We had...More
