We are from Illinois and we’re passing through Chattanooga on our way back from Florida. We stopped to visit Ruby Falls and were starving after we were finished. We wanted to find somewhere that wasn’t a big chain restaurant and family friendly. We stumbled upon...More

Cozy little place just outside of UT. The front porch area was set up as a sports bar and was super nice. Food was amazing! Chicken fingers were the best ever - crispy, juicy, and seasoned very well.

This place is so unique. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of drinks and the menu is mostly fried foods. The service was good and I would recommend the fried chicken.

The hotel we were staying suggested trying this local chicken spot. Food was good, barbecue beans are some of the best I’ve had. Only complaint is that the wait was incredibly long. It is posted in the restaurant that they make the chicken to order...More

Great juicy chicken. This is my second time going and it did not disappoint. The chicken is some of the best and i also enjoyed the tamales. The staff is very friendly. The sides were great as well.

Always good, reasonably priced, funky decor. Great for out of towners. The tamales are also good. Sides are delicious. We often get our chicken to go and usually fight for the Wonder Bread they put in the bag to soak up the chicken drippings.

We stopped here a few years ago by accident and fell in love with the atmosphere and food. We are on a long weekend vacation and have already eaten here twice! It is amazing home-style chicken and sides. Worth the stop for sure!

Had the tamales, very good. The fried chicken wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. But that is NOT a knock on the chicken, it was very good! The potato salad was excellent! And the beans were good!

While I've been many times, first time for my lovely bride. Ordered a 40 oz. Coors Light and got a jumbo coozie half price. Grilled chicken salad is a redneck wonderland. Pickles, whole sliced egg, and the plumpest tender chicken over greens. The fried chicken...More

Stopped in for dinner during a business trip. Nice that they have an outdoor bar with TVs. The fried chicken is great, but the service was less than friendly and it wasn't even a busy night. Overall, it has great food and an OK atmosphere....More

49 is large; best to call and ask. Arrangements might be possible at Lee Highway location. Time of your event could be a factor as well. Kitchen will definitely need advance notice as that’s A LOT of people...and chicken!!
