Family lunch here and we enjoyed everything. The fried chicken and chicken strips were perfectly seasoned and freshly cooked. The buffalo chicken salad was also a nice choice. Friendly service with a nice patio. Make sure you get a 40oz koozie. Kid friendly with parking. We would definitely eat here again.

We were driving through Chattanooga and had to choose one place to eat - not an easy thing to do. Well, the tamales was the deciding factor. The decor is decidedly funky but fun. We sat inside and enjoyed checking it all out. Hubby had the tamales, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Said they were the best he'd had-and we live... More

We don't eat at Champy's as often as we would like, but they have the best fried chicken. All is compared to Champy's when we have it elsewhere and so far there is none better. We also love the fried pickles, tamales and the great atmosphere!

This place is nothing fancy, but great for a family. The fried chicken and hot tamales are excellent as are the sides. We had a large group with kids ranging from 7-15, and our service was great. We did not have to wait, however, we went in the middle of the day. I have heard it can get rather busy.

This is a small restaurant with excellent food and service. I had the 2 piece chicken dinner. The chicken was breaded and cooked excellently, the green beans were awesome, mashed potatoes were good, and the tea was nice and sweet. Our server Hannah was exceptional. She was helpful with everything including the surrounding area.

This place works on several levels. The first is as a dive bar with a kitschy but not over-the-top appeal. This is underscored by the 40 ounce Miller lights in the gigantic coozies they offer to keep them cold. In an adjacent room there were several large tables with family members winding down their New Year's holiday. There are lots... More

Everything is so amazing at Champys, the fried chicken is the bomb, the fried chicken livers are incredible, the crawfish is crazy good, and you can sit back with a cold 40 and enjoy the view!

Ordered the hot tamales as an app (ordered 3 which the waitress suggested even tho not on the menu) and it came with coleslaw. It was ok. Coleslaw was great. Wifey and I shared a plate of chicken. OMG so good. I feel like I'm an expert on fried chicken and this is prob in my top three, ever. Spiced... More

The Hot Tamales were great! The fried chicken was good, but will be back for the Hot Tamales. Kelly took great care of us.

They have fried chicken, fried chicken and fried chicken to choose from. They probably have other stuff too but never noticed. Very good! Laid back atmosphere. Fun, family-friendly. Great staff. 2 locations in Chattanooga.
