The Public House is ideal for us! My husband and I do NOT crave the same comfort foods but we do love simple, well prepared food. We usually go for a late lunch because that fits our current schedule best. I’m a “near” pescatarian and...More

We stopped in Chattanooga on our return trip from Florida like last year. They have wines very reasonably priced. The house salad is huge and very excellent. Our son had the crab cake sandwich which he liked. We had the trout and the market fish...More

Sat at the bar alone - fairly busy for a Wednesday night. Bar staff was attentive and service was quick. I ordered: - PH pimento cheese: Great. Came with grilled sourdough and fried pickles. A generous portion for one person, but delicious. - Roasted beets...More

I’ve been to Public House twice and found the food to be consistently good. It’s a little on the heavy side (Southern flair) but good. The service is excellent and the atmosphere has a trendy vibe.

Never had a bad meal here. Make a reservation if it is a weekend night. Fun bar area as well. This place is family friendly. One of those few places you can dress up and go or just show up in shorts and it works.

I went with people from my office. The food was delicious. Everyone went away full and satisfied with the meal. I loved the banana pudding dessert. Those who had the pot roast loved it! The bread was good. The appetizers were flavorful. Pimento cheese +...More

I can’t speak to their regular menu, but last night’s special was spectacular! Quail breasts wrapped in bacon, stuffed with brown sugar, bread crumbs, and goat cheese. I started with a bowl of their spinach-potato soup and finished with a slice of the Jack Daniels...More

Great food and amazing service! We had the Duck Confit Poutine, Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, and the Cake Shake (seasonal Mint Chocolate...to die for!) This is a MUST DO in Chicago. Nice location near the Riverwalk!

Chicago? We're happy you enjoyed dinner, but did you mean Chattanooga?

I have been here many times. We came in for a small Christmas Gathering and this one time was not acceptable. I had multiple issues with the food (not standard at all from my pervious visits) Things that should not ended up in my food...More
