Great food, great atmosphere, great service, good "bang for the buck". Best reuben sandwich in Bristol, great blackened grouper sandwich, salads, soups, chips. Call your order in ahead and sit down and eat without waiting. Awesome tea.

We stayed a little ways down the road but knew State street was the place to find good food and good beer. State Line Grill offers both. A decent tap list and equally nice menu after a long day were quite welcome. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, the food as good as it sounded from the menu. And yes... More

The service, food and beer selection are consistently above average for Bristol. The quality of the limited number of menu items is good except for the vile burger on a honey bun with cheese.. I'm not tempted! Chips are made there however the fries are frozen before 'oiled'! Overall it is generally good and is quiet when we dine there....... More

The State Line Bar & Grill is in a fascinating old building--real high tin ceilings, lots of personality AND offers good food right on State Street (parking along the street). Very reasonable/affordable prices too! My wife and I both had the catfish and it was more than we could eat, even after taking doggie bags with us back to our... More

We really had a great meal here while visiting Bristol. The ambiance is pub-like. I had the Asian Salad that was delicious and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Club Sandwich. We also ordered the Chips with Salsa and Queso....it's all good!

We were visiting family in Bristol and decided to check out this place for dinner. The TN Vols vs GA Bulldog game was on so there were several people there drinking. The service was very slow and it took a while for our food to come out. I ordered the Caribbean jerk grouper with red potatoes. When my plate came... More

Who doesn't like to watch football on a Saturday in the fall while eating? This place didn't disappoint. The food was tasty and delivered quickly for our group of 15. The staff were helpful and clean place to eat.

Worth a stop for a B rated dinner because the place has a lot of character. It is on a busy corner downtown, on the main drag. The interior looks like it did 50 years ago, which is cool. Diners got up on stage to sing and were good.

We stopped in for a brew and a bite and was impressed with the food. Fairly inexpensive as well if you ask me.

Had a great time here on a Saturday night after eating across the street (Q S&L). Drinks were cold and refreshing on their sidewalk. Enjoyed music from across the street.
