This has become one of our top Resturants to meet for our after work gals group. Great relaxing atmosphere. The food & service are always good. We never feel rushed and have an enjoyable visit. Be sure to check out the chalk board list of the days specials.

I have only lived in the area for about 4 years, but I get the impression this place has been around a long time. It literally is a huge old one-story log cabin. The logs are dark, which adds to the overall sense of it being a hunting/fishing lodge, with low lighting in the dining area. The food is really... More

1st time here. It was really good. My boys got one of the specials which was shrimp alfredo. I got fish tacos with blackened fish. Pretty good prices for the food. Nice for families. My boys were able to watch march madness from where we were sitting. Nice lodge atmosphere!

The Sportsman's Grille and Lodge is a great place for lunch and dinner. Very cozy and nice on a cold day to enjoy the fireplaces and the excellent food and service.

This is a nice rustic restaurant, family friendly- good salads, casseroles and I love their red beans and rice. Don't miss their Prime rib weekends- the way Prime rib is meant to taste, delicious!

When we're in the mood for catfish Sportman's Grill is our go to place. They also have fresh cut, NOT FROZEN fries which are a real plus. I would say their fried dill pickles are the best in town too. Love the atmosphere as well. Great food a good service.

It's so frustrating. I want this centerally located place to be better. I want to dine in the warm environment. It's just so bland. It's also priced too high for what you get.

Had dinner with friends staying in Brentwood and hadn't been here in a long time. We always did enjoy the rustic setting & with the fireplaces going, it was very welcoming on a damp & chilly night, We were seated promptly and given menus. We were still chatting as it has been awhile since we've talked when Randi stopped by... More

Ok, This is not a white table cloth joint but for what it is the place is solid. Go for lunch and enjoy a great meal at a good price. The blackened pork chops are out of this world and they have ice cold beer. I mean ice cold. If you are seeking something a little different give these guys... More

Good service and good atmosphere. Dined with my family and my kids were happy with their meals. It is a great place to eat without a wait.

Jim and Jerry Chandler opened the first Sportsman's Grille restaurant in 1985 with ten items on the menu. They wanted to recreate a northern hunting lodge atmosphere with fresh, hand-packed burgers, chili, catfish and cold beer. The business and menu have since expanded with the purchase of the Gerst Haus (German-American restaurant) in 1988, opening of Sportsman's Grille in the Village in 1991 and opening of Sportsman's Lodge in 2000. Jim and Jerry's wives, children and sons-in law are now involved in the businesses, which also include Melrose Billiards (opened in 1969) and three restaurants in Evansville, Indiana. The family's passion for good food, comfortable atmosphere and family gatherings inspire them to provide a great all-around experience. The service is friendly and all food is prepared with the freshest, natural ingredients from family recipes.
