Very inconsistent quality. Sometimes good, sometimes not.

Used to love this place for the food and fresh brewed beer but both have taken a hit in recent years.

This place makes no bones or apologies about what it is and I like that. Decent food at a good price especialyl the onion rings and wings. Just a good place for fun.

As a local I have been here numerous times and always receive bad service. Why do I keep going back? Because I think that the interesting atmosphere should make up for the dismal time.

I've been to the Firehouse several times. It's a popular choice, so expect it to be crowded and noisy if you go, and I definitely recommend summer over winter, as the ability to sit outdoors can improve it immensely. The same food is served here...More

Nothing fancy about the beers and ales on tap here. But they are fresh and during daily happy hour are half price. Would like to see them experiment with some deeper flavor higher octane brews. The calamari appetizer was very good - fresh tasting calamari,...More

Good spot for a casual meal or beverage. We particulary like the outdorr patio area, where you can enjoy a beverage in front of a nice gas fired fire pit. Not many places you can comfortably sit outside for a drink in December, but we...More

I love beer, and I've been to dozens and dozens of microbreweries. I was disappointed that the Firehouse did not have an India Pale Ale available. I might be that this heavily hopped brew is not a favorite with the locals, but it is a...More

There are some public lots that are free in the evenings and on weekends. Rapid City's website had some maps about parking downtown.

The prices are about what you would expect at any craft brewery. No cheap stuff, but the prices are fair. Yes they also have non-alcoholic drinks and wine.

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of Rapid City's unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
