After reading reviews and seeing all those red fire engines along the highway I had higher hopes for Firehouse Brewing Company. Problem was, despite the really neat exterior, the well decorated inside, and the outdoor dining area the food and service were just plain ordinary....More

We walked here from our hotel a block away. Server was good, Made sure we were under the roof but outside so we did not get wet in the rain. There is indoor dining, outdoor dining, and in between. Expect lines on weekends for dinner....More

After all the signage I was expecting a little more out of the building but still a pretty cool place. The food was good and they had a good selection of beer and drinks. Worth the stop.

My wife’s meal was fine for her. Mine was okay, but really a small portion. Okay, didn’t know that so I won’t blame them for that. I could have ordered differently. That’s not the point. My beef is with 2 things – 1) we were...More

After a day of sightseeing we decided to check out downtown Rapid City and ended up here. Pleasant outside area that was still vibrant. It was really geared up for the Sturgis bike rally. Unfortunately, the service was slow. Our server was pleasant but slow....More

Been coming here since 1992 when riding through the area. Always treat myself to some “cheesy artichoke dip” and it is always consistently delicious. The garlic beer bread is the perfect compliment to this dish.

Loved this place for our tea time meals. We have 2 fussy eaters, age 10 and 8, but both loved the food in this place. The surroundings were of interest to look at, and the menu catered for adults and children alike. Not surprisingly, there...More

Our visit was great for people watching. The beers here are always delicious. The French fries are fantastic. We shared brisket and ribs platter which was plenty for 2. The brisket was kind of tough and missing a smoky flavor. Service was very good.

There are some public lots that are free in the evenings and on weekends. Rapid City's website had some maps about parking downtown.

"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of Rapid City's unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
