I am not a wine connoisseur but I felt very comfortable here. We stopped by to get wine for family back home. The staff was so friendly and helpful they guided me through the wine tasting experience. My husband and I loved it so much we actually bought wine for ourselves. It was so hard to decide because all of... More

Had been in the car all day and stopped here to take a break, did some free wine tasting, sat out in the deck and had a glass of wine. You can get soups or sandwiches or cheeses and sit out there. Then grabbed a few bottles of wine and left. Totally enjoyed.

We stopped in for dinner and didn't realize they offered free wine tastings. Lots of local varieties of wine, many made with berries rather than grapes, due to the region's climate. Dinner was good - a variety of fresh options and huge portions. Gorgeous patio that was too cold for us to enjoy, but looked like a great place to... More

We stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. So much fun! We did wine tasting and then shopped. Yum! Stop here! The staff is friendly and knows their wine. Our wine bartender (?) was Deanne and she was great to talk to. Lots of wine knowledge!

We stopped to get something with Red A.. Wine on it, besides an actual wine bottle, but ended up with 4 expensive bottles and no souvenir. Its a nice winery; clean, friendly, and busy. They must use berry juice in their wines, and its tasty. They have food to eat there, but we didn't get any because of an appointment.... More

We just happened to stumble across Prairie Berry Winery because we were looking for a place in the area to grab a late lunch after sightseeing all morning. We ended up not only having an absolutely amazing lunch, but also did the free wine tasting and purchased some wonderful wines. The location is beautiful and the staff is very friendly... More

I had looked them up online and wanted to go check it out! It is a neat little place very very close to Hill City! I would do it again in a heartbeat! I even bought a cool scented candle to bring home! The taste test was neat and educational as they told you about each one you picked which... More
