Three of us went for dinner. Cute atmosphere. That night was too cold to enjoy the patio, but it did have heaters. It would be a great place for people watching. Each person tried something different. One had the lamb, another the fish special and...More

A friend and I visited Manuel's Cafe yesterday for lunch and it was decidedly NOT what I was hoping for. While the atmosphere (sidewalk tables, heat lamps, wonderful small town atmosphere) was fantastic the menu, food, and service were not. We ordered French Onion soup...More

Just a fine neighborhood restaurant that is worth the trip to find this eclectic area. Really good food in copious quantity. Delicious looking desserts as you walk in the door. Dining inside or out. Great wait staff, knowledgeable and sometimes funky.

Our food was great! We had brunch and it was delicious. I will say that I would have preferred that the wild mushrooms in my omelet were cut up smaller and my husband would have liked the english muffins in his Eggs Benedict to be...More

I held a healthcare recruitment event at Manuels. The staff couldn't have been kinder. The cheese tray and selection of homemade cakes were excellent. The peanut butter chocolate cake should not be missed.

In this restaurant, the seating was a little tight and the lights were dim. The food choices were not great for me and entrees were small and pricey. I ordered the salmon and it lacked flavor. I did not enjoy the food but some of...More

The food here is good - about what I expect from a non-chain restaurant. Although I have never had my socks blown off by anything I've had to eat here, brunch or lunch. Perhaps the dinner menu is where they shine? I do like to...More

Description
Nestled within the cradle of North Augusta's ambitious and visionary Hammond's Ferry riverfront development, Manuel's Bread Cafe combines the storied tradition of a French bakery, pastry and food shop with an unforgettable casual dining experience. From his hometown of Lyon, the Mecca of French cuisine, culinary wizard Chef Manuel Verney-Carron uses his exceptional artistry to extend delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, all guaranteed to delight any palette. The seasonal menu features Manuel's twist on exquisite time-honored French dishes laden with organic produce grown from the fertile soil of our very own Blue Clay Farms, within the partition of Hammond's Ferry. The Cafe is also presenting daily "Plats Du Jour", as well as menu items available as carry-out fare for those who wish to sample the wondrous food "on the go" or in the comfort of their own home. The Cafe also offers a storefront with freshly baked bread, pastries and other items.
