DiVino is a restaurant owned by Andrea and Marion Petruzzi who moved from Florence, Italy to North Augusta, SC in March 2016. Their goal in opening DiVino, is to bring you a piece of Italy with the large variety of Tuscan dished they offer on their menu. The decor at DiVino is a unique mix of European tradition and modern style. The walls are decorated with custom framed photographs of Florence specially taken for the restaurant. DiVino offers a full bar with top shelf liquors, wines and cocktails crafted by our talented mixologist. In accordance with the rest of the restaurant, the bar's decor is one very modern of Italian style like you would find in Florence.

Very nice restaurant to go for Sunday brunch. It can get pretty busy so call ahead to reserve a spot. Nice ambiance, helpful staff, clean, delicious food. I had the best shrimp and grits ever at the Sunday brunch.
Sadly mediocre food and service. Service was very amateur. The waiter came to our table and asked if we wanted water. We said yes and tried to order cocktails but he stated, " one thing at a time, I'll get your drink order after I...bring your water." Unfortunately it just got worse. He told us the specials of the day then told us he wouldnt tell us about the third special because the last of that offering was just ordered by someone else. How about you dont tell us what we may have missed. When the waiter cleared our salad plates, he picked the forks off of the plates and held them in one hand and then stacked the plates in the other hand. He was very slow and meticulous about it. Please someone tell your servers to quickly, quietly and as unobtrusively as possible remove dinnerware from the table and dont make a huge production of it. Had the food been even decent, I wouldnt have bothered writing this but every item we ordered on the menu was WAY overly salted and not tasty at all. The seafood linguini was just awful. All of the seafood was so overcooked it was like rubber. The only edible seafood was the shrimp. The linguini was properly cooked so I just ate the shrimp and a little pasta. The beet risotto looked like a big unappetizing blob of raw hamburger and was so salty as to be inedible. The menu stated it was served with a burrata like cheese but instead the beet blob was ringed with blobs of plain ricotta. Neither of those two dishes had more than 6 bites eaten out of them. We were so looking forward to a special occasion. The reservation site asked if it was a special occasion and we noted that it was but that went unawknowleged. Fortunately we were seated in the back room because the front room was untenably noisy with very poor accoustics. I'm very surprised that none of the other reviews seem to reflect such poor service and quality of food. I hope for other diner's sake that this was a one off experience. Good luck.More
What can we say about DiVino? Well if you're lucky enough to have Michael as your server, prepare to have an amazing night! We had our first post-COVID family dinner out, and our experience was even better than I'd hoped! Michael was our amazing server...- he went out of his way to make the night extra special. The Seafood Linguini was amazing - as was my hubby's Lasagna, and my daughter's Steak! Then we had dessert! Ohmygoodness! The Tiramisu was the best I've ever eaten. The whole experience made our foray back into celebratory eating out everything we wanted it to be.....and more!More
Divinos is in a GREAT location - lovely outdoor area with great atmosphere. The service is good, but servers lack the polish that would make it great. The food is also good and prices are reasonable, but on a recent visit I ordered a half...caesar salad with shrimp, and while the salad was great, there were a grand total of TWO shrimp. It is these kinds of shortcuts that keep it from being the great restaurant it could be. They have a very nice brunch on weekends - we will go back, but hoping they will up their game.More
We were really looking forward to dinner here since we always enjoyed their brunch. This was a special date night with my husband and we were not impressed. First of all, our waiter was new and clearly inexperienced. That alone, for an upscale restaurant, was...disappointing having to wait on things and even once flagging down the manager to bring us something we had requested which was clearly forgotten about. I understand they were busy with prom night patrons but I don’t think that should make our experience less enjoyable.
We started with cocktails and calamari which were good. Our entrees were the ribeye and the lasagna. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and was tasty but, for the price, it definitely should have been a better quality of beef. The lasagna was a real disappointment to me. I was really looking forward to the homemade pasta but couldn’t distinguish it from the cheese. Even though the flavor was good, the texture was just mushy. We had the cannoli for dessert which was heavenly. Overall, we don’t think the quality was equal to the cost for dinner and we’ll probably just stick to brunch here in the future.More

Delicious eats. Professionally good and friendly service. Best sound system of all places ever.
Only minus was sound a bit too loud. IMO diners want to converse more than listen to music, however good and high fidelity. We do. Even after asking for volume down......too loud. I will be more insistent next time. If only all better restaurants would have audio systems this good.....but always at low background volume level.
I will be in Augusta several times this year and will plan to dine at DiVino.More
The food at DeVino's was really good, but the rest of the experience was lacking. If I'm spending about $100 on my meal, I expect an excellent experience. We had made a reservation for a friends birthday celebration. When we asked for them to do...something special upon arrival, they said that we needed to request that at the time of our reservation and could not accommodate (how were we to know that?). They ran out of one of the popular dishes that several people at our table wanted to eat. We had an iced tea that had a clump of goop in it. The manager did apologize and said it would be taken care of, but we were charged both for the iced tea and for a refill. When it was time to leave, they brought out the checks, but had forgotten to add gratuity. The waitress came back, collected the checks, and gave them back to us again with gratuity included. (We would have tipped 20% despite what had happened.) This was really off-putting. I love to go out to really good restaurants for a really nice meal. I will not be returning to this one based on this experience. The food was good, but extraordinarily overpriced for the service we received.More
Alright so I gave this place a try and glad i did. The Espresso french toast I purchased was good and I loved the texture and taste of the french toast. The restaurant gave a sophisticated and elegant vibe to sort of a romantic kind....The only thing that was off was when I had my food takeout and received the bag, I come to find out that I got no utensils and no napkins. I've been in food service for about 2-3 years and I remember that anytime a customer gets their order to go or carry out, they are suppose to get napkins and utensils in their bags and I was disappointed to find none in mine. But overall, a very wonderful experience. I recommend trying the Sunday Brunch if you haven't yetMore
Had a date night with husband. The food is absolutely outstanding!! The lasagna is truly the best thing I've ever had.. my husband got the seafood pasta, and he loved his as well. The atmosphere is calm and romantic. The staff were wonderful. Sadly, the...bartender had a seizure. The staff was wonderful in handling it, and very caring to this young man. It is a little pricey, but it is well worth it, and we will absolutely go back.More
This is more of a gourmet up-scale restaurant. Not here to criticize but to inform others of our first time experience. We have never been to Italy but I am sure they cook differently in different parts of their country just as we do here....Restaurant is lovely and service by Sarah was great. We both had the best Caesar Salad we have ever had. Bread was good but salty.
Hubby had Lasagna. We were told the pasta was home-made but didn't expect Lasagna with Bechamel Sauce instead of red sauce. Also the pasta was very thin which made it mushy. Flavor was good but not what we expected.
I had Linguine ai Frutti di Mare. Again not what I am used to and the mussels were as small as the end of my little finger. One never opened so I had to put it aside. Linguine was very salty for my taste.
I had a martini and glass of wine. Hubby had iced tea. This meal for two people was just not worth $100 but that is just my opinion. I suggest you try it for yourself. I'll stick with Casa Bella in Aiken.More
