We were looking for a place that doesn't hit you for $30 a head and found this cafeteria in our search. There were many choices and each item has a price but there is good variety and we got a good meal for under $15 per couple. Cafeterias are not for everyone but our experience was very positive. The wait... More

K&W is a chain of cafeterias in the Carolina's. It is a favorite of locals and frequent vacationers to the area. The food is very much like Southern home cooking.

When my wife and I are in MB, we always eat here. We ate at a fine dining restaurant while we were here and this k&w was much better for a third of the price.

Pleasant place, very popular with the seniors. Clean, and servers are very pleasant. Not fancy, with basic good American style food served hot and fresh. We did notice that the dessert pie servings were very generous. But, consider this: I had one piece of fried chicken (tasty), small serving of sauteed veggies (tasty), small serving of mashed potatoes with gravy... More

The food is cafeteria style and the price is reasonable for what you get. You choose your items and pay for them at the end.

The menu is varied and the food is good. It is served hot and ready. It is both eat in, and take out. Servers and wait staff are friendly and helpful.

I'm used to the buffet world of serve yourself of the all-you-can-eat styles. The K&W was a step back to a time of service and moderation. It is the old cafeteria style of going through the line, selecting individual items that are individually priced, served to you by the staff on the other side of the selections. The prices are... Loved the cafeteria experience. Food is all carte, so you can get what you want and pay for what you choose. Take out is an option. Very clean and friendly waitstaff which is always important. Food is good!

WE LOVE K&W. Drove 12hrs to Myrtle Beach for 6nights vacation. Been doing this for 4yrs now. 3 to 4 out 6 dinners, we go K&W. Starts with right after the 12hrs drive except this year as they were closed due the hurricane Hermine. We had few breakfast and lunch there, but mostly dinner. Prices are good, then they have...
