Old Village Post House is a very intimate restaurant that has an ever changing menu. I always request to sit in the downstairs dining room. Reservations are also recommended.

The building was built in 1881 and has a lot of history. There are four smaller and separate dining rooms, plus an outside dining area. The food was excellent. I started out with their lobster bisque soup which was the way it should be made,...More

We had a business dinner here the other night. The service was outstanding and for the most part the food was good. I was disappointed with the béarnaise sauce and the rib eye. But in all fairness I was highly encouraged to order the rib...More

Met here for Sunday brunch, great atmosphere, old cottage feel. Great service from our waitress and the Shrimp and grits shared were excellent. The biscuits and gravy with eggs were A ton of food and could be shared. Signature coffee and mimosas also outstanding.

We spent a nice, quiet, two-hour meal with out-of-town guests. While the menu is not especially eclectic, everyone found something and was very happy with their choice

The bar is in a pub setting separate from the main dining room, and I am not sure if they have a Happy Hour or Friday specials. Also, if you sit in the pub the menu is slightly different and a bit cheaper.
