The sushi was fair, but do NOT order anything hibachi. My sister ordered a hibachi chicken dinner, and I promise I think they boiled the chicken!! Rubbery, no seasoning. Even the so-called fried rice was bland. Very expensive for food that you couldn't eat! How they are still in business is beyond me. And this was to celebrate a birthday!!!... More

Average Food and Service. Nice outdoor seating facility but place needs a serious remodeling especially the Restrooms!

The food was uninspired. However, our sever was very good. We had lunch there which we ordered sushi and a Bambu Bowl. I'm not so sure I'd go back again, but I really appreciate great service!

This place has a nice ambiance but food is average, for at least for my taste. Generous quantities but bland Chinese food is served here.

The food was tasty. Service was great. Had seaweed salad and regular salad. Both were good as we're the dressings. Had Ramen soup, very tasty, and basil chicken/shrimp with vegetables. Very tasty. Had donuts for dessert. Would definitely return. Price was good. Just love food with flavor.

Great place to grab sushi for lunch and add a soup or salad for $1! Very good atmosphere and good price.

Sushi was okay. We ordered a small house salad and it didn't even have all of the ingredients on the salad so we had to ask what happened to them. Entrees were bland . Server kept forgetting stuff. They do not have a changing station in the restroom for kids. The miso soup was the best part of the meal.

Bought a restaurant, com coupon because it seemed like a great deal. The atmosphere was not bad but for a Friday night the place was empty. They do have a very large nice outdoor space. We ordered an appetizer that sounded interesting, chicken wrapped around asparagus with a glaze. The chicken on the outside was dry and completely unseasoned. My husband... More

The menu had lots of options and wasn't badly priced. The food was great, especially the sushi and the miso soup!

Delish and fresh sushi every time. The hibachi is high quality meat and veggies. They have the best lunch specials. We have enjoyed the fun outdoor seating area during the cooler months!

Mount Pleasant’s best spot for exciting Asian cuisine, sushi and cocktails has become the place to be for locals and visiting guests alike. Inside, whimsical jellyfish lights hang from the ceiling, expert sushi chefs work steadily to prepare intriguing rolls and sashimi as guests chat at the grand bar stocked with top-shelf liquor, favorite beers on tap and a variety of high-end Sake. The Lowcountry’s most alluring patio is the crown jewel of Bambu. Partially enclosed for both hot days and cool nights, patrons feel they have been transported to paradise, all the while feeling right at home. The Koi pond, open community tables, intimate booths and outdoor bar create a fun, relaxed atmosphere that is second to none. The menu is decidedly contemporary casual Thai and Japanese with other Asian influences. Don't miss their amazing happy hour at their bar all week long and a "Ladies Night" on Thursdays. Open nightly at 4pm. Dinner service at 5pm.
