Had been wanting to dine here for several years when visiting North Myrtle Beach. We heard it is an excellent place to go. I was not impressed with my dinner, Rack of Lamb. I believe there were 6 chops; each had only a bite except...More

I have wanted to try this place for years. I went with a group of friends for a birthday dinner. They put us at a rectangular table in a cubby hole. It was hard for the server to get to us. It was also extremely...More

Great restaurant with a unique ambiance and fantastic food. You'll die over their cornbread (I'm not usually a fan of cornbread, but theirs is unbelievably great!). Don't miss it if you have the chance to enjoy dinner out.

Dinner here this past Friday night and the food, ambiance and service were all top-notch. Had an early-bird dinner, so the pricing was moderate, while the food was excellent. Best Rib-eye and Prime Rib in a long time. Portions were perfect, including the breads (corn...More

Food was good. A nice wine list with reasonable prices. Portions ample. Place is noisy though. Need reservations. We had reservations and my friend was disappointed as she asked to sit in the main area when making the reservation and that was not honored.

Though the restaurant itself is thoroughly enjoyable, being a former church (stained glass and all), the food was a bit “meh”. My dad’s steak was poorly seasoned (he would say that it just wasn’t seasoned at all), and my food was average as well. Service...More

Food was very good. Had reservations for 8:00, Got seated about 8:15, Finally got food around 9:30. Several empty tables so really don't understand the long wait. Wife ordered Filet cooked medium (had no pink in middle) everything else was good.

This resurrected church building is a masterpiece of creativity. We loved the restoration , the craftsmanship and the history shared by our server Jeremy. The stained glass windows are remarkable! The trivia question re which window was most valuable piqued our curiosity. As for the...More

Shorts would be fine. It is formerly a church but nothing too fancy in its setting or decor, other than some really spiffy menu selections!

Description
Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection.
