We ate there on our first stay on the island. We had been checking out restaurants recommended by friends, but took a chance on this, since I gravitate toward British-style pubs. We were there during the Heritage golf week and the waterside restaurants were crazy busy, so this worked out fine. The whole family was happy with the service and... More

The bartender Shannon was fabulous from the moment we walked in. Made us part of the bar family. Talked to interesting, funny and very kind regulars, that gave us great suggestions for the rest of our trip... Will go back for sure! A bonus the menu and food was great!

Salads (named after famed BO winning golfers) are great and the fish and chips, various pub pies and beer are all terrific. Golf is on every TV including a few personal ones in some booths so you can get your fix if you can't be at the British or US Opens, Master's or RBC Heritage in Harbourtown. Inside is comfy... More

My husband and I stopped for lunch and enjoyed eating outside to take in the gorgeous sunny day and low humidity. Our waitress arrived promptly, and our food shortly after. We both ordered Reuben sandwiches and homemade French Fries, which we often order. If you haven not experienced the Pub's Reuben, you will not be disappointed in the mile high... More

Had dinner after the second round of the Heritage Classic and it was very enjoyable. Had the pub atmosphere as well as traditional pub dishes. Fish and Chips and cold Guinness made for a great finish to a fun golf related day. The service could have been better but still enjoyable.

This was another great meal at The British Open Pub. We have dined in this establishment probably 20 times over the last several years. Every meal is prepared perfectly, and is always piping hot and delicious. Make sure you get a reservation...the word is out, and this restaurant is ALWAYS crowded (year round). The service is very good, although during... More

My husband ordered the seafood platter, and 2 of the 3 items were so over cooked, they were rubbery. When the waitress came to see how our food was, we had barely bitten into anything and we said "good". She never came back. The hostess noticed we were anxiously looking for our server, attended to our table and went to... More

Good food, esp fish and chips, and a cold beer. Service was VERY slow taking nearly an hour to bring out food but the food was good and reasonable.

One of the best cottage pies on the island and I feel you like liver & onions it is excellent. We usually eat at the bar and all of the bar staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Went there for a Group outing and the staff was 1st Class. My dinner was very good, beer was ice cold and most of all the owner came around to see our needs were being taken care of. Will have other BNI outings in their Banquet Room in the Future. Thank you
