We love this place! Great staff and food is delicious and cheap! Go for the catfish and cheese steak sandwich.

We visit here 2-3 times a year to relax and enjoy the lake. Very good food, variety from catfish to burgers - favorite is Cajun grilled catfish. Casual, can sit at bar or lake front. Boat dock up if on lake Marion. Regulars, locals, tourists...More
My husband and I heard about this place from the FishEagle's tour guide. Its a quaint family run restaurant on the shores of Lake Marion. Though the catfish was farm raised, it was fresh, light and delicious! Our server was very attentive and we felt...More
This is definitely an out of the way place to eat, but well worth the visit. Stumphole Landing is off the beaten path with lots of great views. We ate at the restaurant at the boat landing. The grill has breakfast and lunch/dinner. It's a...More
I was introduced to Stumphole years ago by a friend who described it as "Santee's best kept secret". If you want fancy atmosphere, linen napkins, fine china and crystal go somewhere else. This is fish camp dining at its best!! Reasonable prices and laid back...More

Whew, this place is dirty beyond any restaurant establishment I have ever seen. Food is pretty good and I would come here again if the place got cleaned up. I think they are a bait and tackle shop first, bar second, and restaurant third.
Best catfish basket I ever had. The catfish was cooked to perfection lightly breaded, lightly fried, it was hot and sweet. I wish I lived within a days travel. You can also come by boat. 5 stars. It's worth the trip even from Maine.
We were in Sumter for the Iris Festival and my husband was looking for good fresh, fried catfish. After some research, I found Stumphole Landing and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the fried catfish basket, his with fries and mine with baked potato,...More
