Local ingredients and fantastic atmosphere! The food was on another level than 95% of other restaurants we've been to in Cola. Newcastle braised short ribs were great and strawberry salad with goat cheese fritters was unexpected. What a treat we will absolutely be back!

Well, except this one is not only friendly and inviting, it is upscale with a menu full of delightful gastronomic delights. The chef works his magic with local food from the area. It is always fresh and flavorful. And, it is not all lah-de-dah - they have one of the best hamburgers in town. We go often and have yet... More

I checked the ever helpful Trip Advisor ratings as we looked for a pre-op meal before becoming bionic with the great Dr. Gross and found Tombo, a huge surprise and delight in Columbia, SC. After decades of being depressed by the lack of fresh food in the south, things are a changin' for the better. The fried brussel sprouts and... More

I hosted a group of business associates here in March and it couldn't have gone better. Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere appropriately casual. The value was exceptional, as the final bill for a group of 12, including appetizers, salads, entrees and a drink or two apiece was less than $600. Would highly recommend.

My husband and grandson had the veal meatloaf and raved about it. This place would be a regular for us if we lived in Columbia.

Went in for a late dinner and although the service was very good the food was terrible. The "steak" my date ordered tasted like it was still part of the cow and the rest of her plate looked like the kitchen threw the leftovers in one big slop heap.

I would go again, but only for the Shrimp and Grits. They really were quite delicious. My wife and I ordered an appetizer, two entrees and a dessert here and the only thing I could honestly recommend is the Shrimp and Grits and the Wedge Salad (if you like that sort of thing). Everything else was really just average, but... More

For a family if six celebrating a birthday it was overpriced. Overall the food was excellent and service was on par with other high end restaurants in Columbia. I normally go out 2 to 3 times a week to eat with my family. An added benefit was the live music. It's also a 50 plus crowd.

Great location for a small restaurant in Forest Acres. Went with friends and all enjoyed very tasty food, cooked and presented in delicious fashion...wll return....somewhat pricey but worth it for a splurge.
