Overpriced, poor service, average food. We are a family of four and use TripAdvisor and Yelp to try different restaurants while traveling. We seek out places that are highly rated but are not franchised. We went for a Saturday lunch. The food was very average,...More

Hi Patricio Family, We are so sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your time at our deli. We always try to ensure to give all our customers the best experience, but unfortunately, it sounds like this was not the case. I would...More

This place is tucked into a neighborhood near the college. If you are not looking for it, you will miss it. I thought it was a formal atmosphere but. I was wrong. It appears as an upscale deli. There is such a variety & everything...More

DiPrato's is one of my favorite lunch/brunch places downtown. Great chicken salad and the warm pita chips are the bomb. They also have their homemade pimento cheese and chicken salad in a deli case for carry out. Best side is the pasta salad. In addition...More

Had a short wait on a Sunday afternoon. No big deal, this is a popular place with a great menu. The service was excellent and the food very good. Lots of breakfast selections as well as a very large selection of sandwiches. Was hard to...More

We are locals and have been planning to visit this establishment for brunch. However, when we first drove by there were about 15 people waiting outside. My husband doesn't like to wait, so we left. This past Saturday we decided that we would wait (there...More

Nice place for brunch with an interesting menu. I got the smoked salmon bagel, but I was disappointed I had to assemble it myself.

Unexpected find as we roamed USC area. Seemed to be a busy, popular place but we got there just before 'the rush' so didn't have to wait. Staff was friendly, food good and would recommend if in the area.

Pimento cheese is amazing. Their brunch has great options including juevos rancheros that is great. I think the cheese sauce over the broccoli cheese quiche with cheesy hash browns is a bit much. Almost a sickening amount of cheese and I never thought I could...More

Soups, Salads, Sandwiches! It's all right here at DiPrato's. Love pimento cheese? They have some of the very best, served with fresh, home-made pita chips, it's enough to share, but you probably won't want to! The parking lot behind the restaurant can fill quickly around...More

Description
DiPrato's Delicatessen opened May 2004, and, today, the DiPrato's Experience affords patrons a rewarding escape from ordinary fare. The reward? Delectable food, beautiful décor, and a beguiling balance: friendly service and a pleasant, neighborly feeling. DiPrato's, located where the Purple Cow grocer operated, graces a quiet neighborhood barely off the beaten path. Driving up, you notice the rich red brick, set off by greenery, and spacious windows where light pours in. Approaching the wooden, double-door entrance, a thought comes to mind. You're about to enjoy the DiPrato's Experience. You could say a Southern breeze laden with Italian accents drifts through this New York style delicatessen. Dine if you like on the patio where the glassy splash of falling water melts away concerns. Pita chips and pimento cheese are a real treat! Blend Dianne Light and Bill Prato's presence and culinary skills and you get a wonderfully popular delicatessen-DiPrato's.
