We've visited the HSV twice now and it has become a favorite spot for my husband and me. The setting is airy without being cold, not could it be qualified as 'cozy' --it is a smallish light restaurant but you aren't on top of your neighbors. The decor is fun euro-wine oriented. The service is very professional, by which I... More

Charming location, interior and decor. Excellent food and good service. Nice bar, Cozy tables. Great fish and steak--best of both. Hearty servings. Reasonably priced for quality.

First time visit, but not the last. Very good wine list, some familiar, some not; which we like. We were seated promptly, asked for a quiet table and they tried. This restaurant is VERY LOUD, so be prepared. We were not aware that they have several tables in the wine room which is completely separated from the main area and... More

Only stayed in Columbia one night. We stayed at the Marriott, and spotted this restaurant across the street. What a wonderful find!! It was Saturday night, had no reservations, but sat at the bar. It was just great, good was divine, service excellent, and plenty of atmosphere. Don't miss it!!

I had a delightful dinner here after making a reservation through open table. It is located directly across from the downtown Marriott and just down the street from the Sheraton. There are outside tables, weather permitting, but otherwise you walk down a small set of stairs to a quaint little restaurant. There is a large table for community seating and... More

Joined a friend for lunch here. It's very convenient in downtown. Atmosphere is nice but it's very noisy so don't plan on having an intimate conversation. Service was very good. I found the food to be pretty average. I had a special, seared tuna on pad thai noodles. The tuna was fine but the noodles tasted like they were dressed... More

A group of six of us went to HSV for NYE 2016. The menu was a special one for NYE, which I didn't realize, and I already had my heart set on something from the regular menu I found on their website (the website didn't indicate there would be a different menu for NYE). Nonetheless, the food was absolutely amazing,... More

Horrible New Year's Eve experience. We had 8:30 reservations and they were out of the filet. The lobster bisque was watered down and the steaks took over 30 minutes. We asked to speak to the manager and he never came. This was our second bad experience. The first time we came on a weeknight and they were out of the... More

A warm and cozy restarant with a great menu. I could have chosen any one of the choices, they all sounded delicious!! The Ahi Tuna I had was very tasty, my friends had crab, pasta and steak. All were very good. The wine list is amazing!! Well worth a visit!
