I eat lunch here frequently. The surroundings are pleasant, plenty of parking and the decor is understated and comfortable. The staff here are unfailingly pleasant and helpful, the food is always good with a fair variety of Italian dishes - excellent thin crust pizza, salads, bruschettas, soups and pasta dishes. You can also get a decent espresso here which is... More

My wife and I had driven by Il Giorgione many times and barely noticed the quaint awning of the small restaurant next to the former Dianne's on Devine. We finally realized that the space housed an Italian restaurant and decided that we definitely had to give it a try. We went on a weekday evening with her mother and decided... More

Intimate, friendly. The aroma, ingredients, plating make dining an experience, and congenial hosts and staff make walking in the door such a pleasure. Go!

The ambiance is very pleasant. There are some nice choices, mainly pizzas or pasta. The servings are not very generous. There is a full bar and there are wines to choose from. The selection for dessert is also limited. Not a mama mia Italian experience but pleasant and relaxed.

Food was OK. Disappointed in the value of the food. We asked the server for bread since in most Italian restaurants I have been to server bread and olive oil (French bread) as you first sit at the table. We were told there would be an extra charge, which was OK with us. We were also told it would be... More

While in Columbia I was taken to Il Giorgione Pizzeria & Wine Bar by a local who said it was his favorite restaurant. We had a large group and sat outside in a quaint narrow area between buildings lit by strings of lights. But even the inside seating was intimate and casual. The pizzas were artisan, and I had a... My wife and I had hoped to find a great Italian restaurant when we dined. Instead it was mostly bland tomato sauces with no discernible herbs or spices. Even Ragu or Prego make a more flavorful sauce than the chef here. Do not waste your time or money. Better still go to the Villa Toronco for real Italian food

We decided to stop here for a light meal after a movie. I had the pizza with tomato and mozzarella and husband had the calzone with meat. First off, if you go on a Friday evening around 6pm you better have a reservation. The indoors seating was all reserved but we were able to sit outside and there was a... More

I was bringing my daughter down for her junior year at USC. We don't know many places so looked up on Trip Advisor and decided to give Il Giorgione a try. We started with eggplant involtini. A really nice appetizer. We shared a pizza with spicy sausage and pappardelle bolognese. We really enjoyed the pasta and the pizza is tasty,... More
