One should keep in mind that British cuisine is not held in the highest regard. That said, this is, sadly another case of "kids in the kitchen." The establishment is replete with staff that has not been properly trained. A shame. I ordered a Ruben sandwich. It arrived and I could see it was adequately constructed with good ingredients. Upon... More

Visited on Monday December. 26: soccer games and fans with heated enthusiasm in every book and cranny! Ordered the Fish and Chips and Reuben to share. The fish was amazing-perfectly cooked. I think the Reuben waited for a while while the fish was being cooked because the bottom bread was soggy. The fries were a little mushed and undercooked. The... More

Quintessential British Pub. Fish and chip/ pasties and loaded chips, all good but just average. A bit disappointed with the fish and chips but their twist was good but again just average. Pastie was good. And a good portion.

Popped in here with my crew on an overnight. Recommend by the hotel van driver that pick us up and then cemented by the local urber driver. They did alright. Fair enough fish and chips washed down with local stout from the bird song brewery. Footie on the tele, it was alright.

Good friendly British food and theme. Corned beef and cabbage was good with mashed potatoes , tasty brown gravy. It really didn't look like corned beef but just a shredded beef of some kind. tasty but not the best. Lots of beers and hard ciders and soccer on the TV's. A good staging area for dinners or clubs with a... More

I ordered the fish & chips. I requested that the fish not be burnt since it was my last visit. But behold, I got burnt fish again. The food at this place has steadily gone downhill and now officially SUCKS!

I went during lunch on a Friday and the place was pretty much empty. (Just setting the mood for this review...settle down). When I entered I was met swiftly by the hostess that acted as my server. She was prompt, had a huge smile and was very kind. I ordered beef and cheese pasty over chips (fries to us Americans).... More

After a day on the road, we sought comfort food but wanted something unique; British Bulldog Pub offers those qualities. With a sports bar vibe & live music on Saturday night, it was a perfect place to unwind & dine. I ordered the Rueben Burger- traditional fixings on a burger; novel yes, tasty - very. Served with fries, substitute is... More

I went with some friends and one was a Brit so we got to learn while there. I didn't realize that ciders were a British thing. Not your usual apple cider. They have both British and american food. The bangers are good and the meat pastry is also. If you have a designated driver, it is a great place to... More

Cool, soccer-and-British-inspired atmosphere where the food is average but the service and mood are great. I've eaten the Sunday brunch several times and it's reasonably priced but most of the items aren't anything special. My son had the Reuben hamburger with fries and loved it. The regular menu is a better choice than the brunch buffet. The fish and chips... More
