Closed For Business is a cozy restaurant located on the heart of northern King Street. Great selection of beer and a fantastic bar menu. Enjoy. Jolly Chriss.

Beer selection is outstanding. They have daily flights as well as small glass options so you can sample multiple brews. Bar food was ok, chicken wings are tasty, but too small.

Maybe because we’re not drinkers and had kids with us it was just average. If you do come in with kids you have to sit in the back of restaurant, no big deal. I will say that the burgers and sandwiches were a very filling...More

Best beer and best bar food in Charleston! The pork slap is the best thing I've ever put in my mouth!

What a rockin selection of local beers - the food has gotten better too and the staff is pretty cool ... except one rounder lady with dark hair and glasses (maybe manager ?) who seems to lose her cool depending on the day. I’ve been...More

We stopped by Closed for Business for a drink in the middle of our last day. We did not try any food. It was definitely a quirky, unique atmosphere inside. It was a nice change for a lot of the bars/restaurants in Charleston.

Great little spot for a couple of beer flights. We always love trying out local and regional craft beers when we are visiting a new city, and there were definitely plenty of great options here.

We went here with high expectations and left after one beer. Yes, the beer selection is large and there's also a full bar but the prices are ridiculous. Our bartender was either having a bad day or just plain uninterested in his job. Disappointing

Stopped in on two different occasions for beer - cool atmosphere and nice beer list. They had the Founder's Canadian Breakfast Stout on tap - found it to be a nice find.

My husband was awed by the number of draft beer choices...42! He finally chose a one as I ordered a white wine and nachos with cheese and chicken wings. The food was great!

We do not have a designated free parking lot, but you can usually find parking on the streets nearby. There is also a paid parking lot directly behind the restaurant that should have space available. See you soon!

Closed for Business is Charleston’s first dedicated tap room, with 42 taps, featuring many of Charleston’s best home-grown brews. The menu is Bavarian-inspired, highlighting our spin on traditional dishes served in bars & pubs in southern Germany, along with some American classics. We aren’t your standard bar; within our carefully curated walls our knowledgeable staff is dedicated to providing our guests with a casual, yet polished experience that hopefully introduces them to a world of beer they didn’t know existed.
We do not take reservations of any kind and operate on a first come-first serve basis.
