From waiter Shawn to Sommelier Andrew and everyone in between who made this meal excellent. The pea salad was one of those most unique and delicious salads I ever had. Service was stellar, atmosphere with jazz music was excellent and presentation and detail of food...was top notch. I highly recommend this place that is tucked into a small shopping courtyard with other businesses on placard out front. They strive for perfection and it shows.More

The food was good but overpriced. Our waiter was a bit overboard on the upselling. Overall, a good experience, but not a great value.

My husband and I came to Charleston to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were looking at Charleston Grill to have dinner, but they were booked for the evening. As we were checking online, we met Executive Chef Michelle Weaver opening the door to the...restaurant to start her day. She was so kind to us. She ensured that we were able to have reservations for that evening and can I say it was the best dining experience! From the impeccable service, to the delicious food, it was a five star experience. We had the crab cake and pork belly for appetizer. The server was also kind enough to allow my husband to taste the tuna. With every bite of food, he would dance at the table 😊. For our entrees we had the lamb chops and wild mushroom and celery root. Once again, every bite was delightful to our tastebuds. We are beyond grateful to the staff and especially to Chef Michelle Weaver for making our 25th wedding celebration a memorable one.More

Best restaurant of our trip. Such a nice restaurant. Service was perfect. Food was perfect. One of the best filets I have ever had. I highly recommend. Nice atmosphere too. Actually pretty reasonable considering the quality of the food.

Could not have asked for a better dining experience. Foie gras and oyster appetizers excellent. Red snapper and Lamb Chops cooked perfectly. Truffle tremor cheese to die for. Excellent wine list that rivals Michelin star restaurants. Service outstanding. A special thank you to Andrew for...his wine recommendations. If you enjoy fine dining this is a must in Charleston.More

Plates were well executed, however, there was a lack of creativity. Food is traditional and very predictive. The wine made up for it though.More

Rarely does one encounter a restaurant where the ambiance, cuisine and service are all perfection. Charleston Grill delivers all and more. A beautiful setting and live music greet you as you walk through the door. The cuisine is beyond superb. The foie gras, crab cake,...bass and butter beans were perfectly seasoned and offered a sophisticated juxtaposition of tastes and texture. Kudos to Chef Michelle for her interesting take on Southern classics with a European flair. Janet, Bryan and Sam offered service that was gracious, personable and tops. We would absolutely award 10 stars to this wonderful evening. Don’t miss this extraordinary dining experience if possible!!More

Phenomenal. From the moment you enter the restaurant. Service from so many people is outstanding. Can’t say that strongly enough. Covid compliance is better than you would find inside the CDC. The food. Wow. Oysters were incredible. The fish entree was one of the best...I have ever had. Last..the cocktails were perfect. If you eat somewhere in Charleston eat here. Five stars isn’t enough.More

#1,943 to review. That sure tells you how much people LOVE this restaurant. We joined that crowd! Fine Dining at its best. Highlight of our restaurant visits during our 3 day escape from Washington DC. Truly enjoying flawless service and genuine hospitality...that comes from practice...and understanding great service. From Executive Chef Michelle Weaver's exceptional talent to Andrew Marshall's (Beverage Director) genuine love of wine and extensive knowledge, we were happy to experience dining out again. Everyone socially distanced and wearing masks. Realize not everyone in SC does so; however, we felt very safe that evening. Our server, Bryan was flawless and if you want the best martini, Melissa makes the meanest one around. My fiance is a Chef and restaurant owner and I have rarely seen him so excited about an entree. The Colorado Lamb Chops ...honestly, he talked about them for days. I overdosed on the incredible bread and salted butter. How do I stop craving carbs? When in Charleston...the Signature Crab Cake for a starter. We saw Andrew walk by our table with a bottle of Schrader....Heaven!!! Definitely a most memorable evening, made even better by the exceptional team at Charleston Grill.More
