My husband and I had one of the best meals ever at this tiny little place. The food was amazing -- each course obviously expertly prepared by the chef. It was not only good, but beautiful to look at. Excellent wines as well. Great music -- playing "The Soft Side of Johnny Coltrane" when we were there. The only negative... More

A perfect little cafe for lunch. We came here for a low-key, post-workout, girls' lunch. Fit the bill perfectly. The menu is a nice mix of lighter and savory fare - even the heavier options still seemed healthy - chicken salad, veggie curry, quiche. The cheeseboard was a nice starter and ranged from mild and creamy to hard and stinky.... More

Charleston, you'd assume, would have plenty of options for afternoon tea because of the local tea plantation and the history of the area; however, when I was looking for places for tea I could find only a few that sounded like a true afternoon tea experience. Previously I had been to the tea at Charleston Place (downtown Charleston), which was... More

Wonderful experience. Food was delightful, especially the scones & the caramel dessert! A nice array of choices. We were asked if we'd like more of anything which was very nice. Very warm & welcoming. A small place but worth the visit & the money. And.......the tea was wonderful! Cozy & wonderful! My friend who is a tea caterer (from Seattle... More

Every time we travel, we look for a place to have afternoon tea. There is a surprising scarcity of places for this in Charleston, but I stumbled onto this little restaurant while doing my homework before the trip. First, if you are looking for white linen and hotel silver, this isn't it. We like that too, but for us, we... More

Jenn & Enan are professionally trained chefs. LeCordon Bleu & Johnson & Wales graduates. Their restaurant is small and adorable. Located a bit North of the main downtown area, but worth going to. Limited parking but some on street. Food was excellent...Very upscale and obviously made from scratch. Although I am not a mac 'n cheese lover, I must say,... More

I thought this was a bakery! But it is a "divine" little restaurant. The menu is small and seasonal but still a good variety of dishes. Everything I ordered was excellent. The service was impeccable. It is a bright, cheerful but elegant spot and I will definitely return.

Marvelous food - marvelous service but very small restaurant so you must have reservations. Desserts are outstanding. Nice but small selection of beer and wine.

With my wife, her best friend and our 10-month old daughter, we gave 26Divine a try this past Saturday. We made reservations and mentioned that we would need a high chair. We were told that it wouldn't be a problem and one would be brought from the owner's home. We arrived a few minutes early, were promptly seated and had... More
