The Crab Cake Sandwich is a must and the She Crab Soup is unreal!!! Chris was our server and explained the menu to us and answered all of our questions. Chris was amazing with our 3 year old daughter and when we left the restaurant she stated, "He is my new friend and so silly". Chris also provided great beverage... More

The first time we ate here we thought it was great. This time not so much. The place was noisy and the tables were close together. The food was ok, not spicy enough. Their solution to this was giving us standard tobasco sauce. The wine selection was limited. If you do eat there request the second floor.

Our first meal in Charleston was so good, it's going to be a challenge for the rest of our meals to measure up to Low Country Bistro. The menu was not big, yet everything was so appealing to us, we had a hard time deciding. This is a farm to table menu and everything we had was so fresh and... More

If you go, ask for Sophie. She is amazing! She gave us great food and drink reservations, and was as nice as can be! Try her signature drink. She'll even give you the recipe for it if you ask.

What a way to start vacation after flying from Seattle and only having an in flight meal. We started with the pork belly and scallops, my wife had the bouillabaisse and it was dense with seafood and andouille sausage with tons of favor. I had the chicken and waffle but the waffle was a sweet potato waffle with a bourbon... More

Wanted a cocktail and an appetizer when we walked in to the little restaurant after shopping and walking. Only disappointment was the male "Hostess" who greeted us with his cellphone in hand. Wasn't crowded so we asked to sit outside we were told that was no available and sat us inside the empty bistro. Our waitress made up for his... More

This little cafe on Market Street might be easy to overlook, but give it a try. I stopped in for lunch and had a lovely glass of wine with a yummy salad. I looked over the menu for a future visit and saw lots of possibilities. The staff was attentive and courteous. What else could you ask for?

LB is a quaint restaurant with good lowcountry cooking. My boyfriend loved the chicken and waffles, and I enjoyed my crab cakes a lot. I opted for the Brussels sprouts instead of greens, and the waitress/kitchen was very accommodating. Though not our absolute favorite spot, still a good meal.

This was our splurge dinner while in Charleston, and boy was it worth it! First of all, it wasn't as expensive as most of the other nicer restaurants (main dishes were between $20 - $35). I had the shrimp and grits which came with an amazing tomato compote that made the meal one of the best I've ever had. My... More

Description
SIMPLY LOWCOUNTRY: Lowcountry Bistro focuses only on the freshest ingredients since all of the food we cook is from scratch. On the menu you will find cult favorites like Chicken and Waffles to Lowcountry classics like Shrimp and Grits. We also believe that great food can be affordable. Many of our lunch dishes are under $10. Our goal as a restaurant is to serve high quality, delicious food, at a fair price. We hope you agree after your meal at Lowcountry Bistro. SISTER RESTAURANT TO 82 QUEEN As an icon of the city for over 30 years, we have seen restaurants come and go. We pride ourselves on the fact that we were one of the first original Lowcountry cuisine restaurants to open their doors in the city. We know Lowcountry and after diligently researching Market Street restaurants, have come to the conclusion that what the area needs is a true, authentic Lowcountry restaurant.
