This was our first lunch on our Charleston vacation. We loved it! I had braised pork tacos. They were great...however, I did add the cilantro aioli because I like condiments. I had boiled peanuts as my side. They were spicy and so good that I almost forgot I had tacos. Messy...but so good! My husband had the Jamaican Jerk chicken... More

This place is something else. The atmosphere is what Guy F would call "funky". The food is what I call good. We started with the meal with the chorizo cheese dip which we ate every drop off. My wife had the mahi tacos which were really good. I had Granny V's chicken and biscuit ... delicious (note: ask for more... More

This place is cool - nothing pretentious, just good food and drink. Came here a a nice summer eve, and had a great meal with my business partner. The salads and meals all looked good from what i could see. I would definitely go back again next time I am in town. Be sure to try the Ho-Cakes for an... More

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon. Ate on the back patio. Super food Mahi-Mahi tacos and service. Cheating yourself if you don't have the phenomenal chocolate cake! Pet friendly outside too.

I never miss a chance to eat at this wonderful place. Great atmosphere and the Jerk Chicken Sandwich is amazing. And the plantains and caramel sauce are off the hook good

So I first heard of this place on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives several years ago. Happened to find myself in Charleston and had breakfast at one of my favorite spots when I noticed Fuel was directly across the street from where I was sitting. Went back for lunch and sat at at the bar and ordered the Jerk Chicken... More

Hubby and I had lunch at Fuel. The ambience, an old garage, is fun and the outdoor space is great. Our server was very helpful and did a great job. I rarely give anyplace 5 stars but Fuel was great. We shared our plates so we were able to sample lots of items. The Hoe Cakes were our starter. They... More

It had been recommended that we stop here for their margaritas but after trying to have brunch across the street where it was too crowded we thought we'd try Fuel. We were glad we did! The atmosphere is very cool with a great outside area. Our server was great and the drinks were amazing...on of the best bloody marys I... More

Love the small old gas station turned into a restaurant with a great back porch dining area. Visited for lunch on New Years Day and sat in the open air back porch area. Service was sufficient, but certainly not what I would term "friendly". Ok, maybe the food would make up for it. Four of us ordered various items from... More

Although the selection is limited, I had one of the best tacos I have eaten--the chorizo topped with kale salad. The flavors were well balanced with a slow heat. It was like nothing I have ever eaten and I can't wait to go back. My husband had the jerk chicken sandwich which was also excellent.
