This place is always very good. Service is nice and friendly. Food is very good. Prices are good. In downtown Beaufort. Make it a stop. Not open for dinner.

I tried shrimp and grits at Fleetwood Landing (Charleston), Blackstone Cafe (Beaufort), Goosefeathers Cafe (Savannah) and here. This was by far the best (although I am partial to tomato-based sauces.) Service was good and atmosphere was homey. A favorite eating place in Beaufort.
Thank you so much for this awesome review! So happy to hear you loved our shrimp and grits, hope to see you again.

This place looks fantastic, and oozes class and distinction. It is on the edge of rich retirees' country. But Sunday lunch was very ordinary. We ordered the beet salad, which looked as though it had 'died on the plate'; and the smashed avocado on toast,...More
