Stopped in for breakfast on a week day, before all the tourists. Most customers were locals. Had the strawberry banana waffle, which was to die for. My companion had the traditional pancakes, also very good. Service was busy, but also very friendly and attentive. Seems Rhode Island breakfast prices are higher than here in NY, but will return again next... More

Waited 35 min for a sandwich and found out the order was never put in. When I questioned when we would be served I was told it was just ordered and then a server started yelling at me that the restaurant got busy and they had to call in additional help. My point is that the order was never placed... More

Friendly waitstaff in a old fashioned, unassuming, building. Plenty of parking. Love that it is not a chain but a local established restaurant. They will make your eggs the way you want and will do so with a smile. The coffee is endless and the food has that homemade taste. To top it off...the price is right. You gotta try it.

It has all the comforting standards, no real surprises. Waitresses who call you "hon" and keep the coffee cup full. Very unassuming, kind of the food equivalent of that comfy sweatshirt you always wear.

While there is not much to rave about - considering there is just only so may ways to cook an egg, some homefries, toast and coffee... they still serve a good meal here. They have a variety of specials each day and their prices are average for a breakfast/lunch in a tourist area. Early morning weekends tend to be busier... More

This place is a diamond in the rough. The breakfasts are freshly made and the prices are so, so reasonable. We went there for breakfast on our two days in the area and will go often on our future visits. The wait staff was wonderful, and each time we were leaving, the lines were out the door.

Timed just great at 10:00 on a Saturday morning we got a table immediately. Before leaving there was a line waiting outside to get in. The staff is very friendly calling patrons "sweetie" and "Hon". Our server Pattie remembered our names long after we introduced ourselves. This was impressive. Lots of locals in here. Was warned about their syrup so... More
