Good beer selection, atmosphere to watch sports, but food was nothing special. Both the mac and cheese and buffalo mac were extremely greasy. I sent mine back, waitress was very nice about it.

The food was okay but over priced. The waitress gave me my bill for 19.46 and I gave her $25 so she would bring me some change for the tip. She never came back and I can only assume she felt she deserved a ~$6 tip on a $19 meal even with poor service. Could not find anyone to ask... More
Stopped here for a quick beer before going over to an event at URI. The clam cakes were piping hot and tasty. The quesadillas were just okay as there wasn't much flavor. Disappointed that a few of the seasonal beers were not available, but were able to sample a couple to find one we liked.
There might be a somewhat different menu at RJ's than Chelo's, but for the most part it's the same place. Different decor for sure. Some menu items that are just at RJ's. But for the most part it's still just like Chelo's -- a small chain. Burgers and other fare are average. Nothing horrible. Nothing great either.
I went in for a trivia night event with my girlfriend. The entertainment was great. The problem was that I ordered a pitcher of their house drink, Joe's Punch. When I asked what was in it, my waitress couldn't give me an answer, and just told me it's a mixture of fruity alcohols. I ordered it anyway hoping I would... More
Hummus came with a thick sweet balsamic syrup, not healthy, and the veggies were not even close to fresh. Celery was cut from outside stalks with scars and bacteria, broccoli stems were old and untrimmed, cucumbers were soft and sour (old). Steak tips ordered medium were charred and well done. Service was great, food was poor.
Stopped here for lunch in the middle of a geocaching day. Had some good reviews and stars, and looked like people were stopping here for lunch on a Monday. Got seated right away. Asked for a soda and an ice water without lemon, got water with lemon. While I was dishing out lemon from my water, server rattled off specials.... More
Your local college bar with affordable food I had steak tips, clam chowder and a salad the chowder and salad are considered sides and are included in the price which was less than $20.00. They had a live band which was a little loud if you want to have a conversation. Overall for the price it was very good.
Five of us had lunch there after a bike ride on the William O'Neill trail. We each ordered something different. Every meal was nicely presented and the food was really very good. The waitress was very helpful and pleasant. The menu has a variety of offerings and thus good for a group.
Not much to say about this one, my wife and I ate here a couple of times and that was enough for us. The food is less than memorable and the atmosphere is quite lacking, pretty much a college watering hole and that's about that in my opinion.
