We have had a beach home in RI for 30 years and other than Newport we have struggled to find a decent family restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. Well we've found it! We have now brought many friends and family there and not once have we've been disappointed. Their specials are usually great and season appropriate. Prices are... More

My husband a friend and I went on a Friday night for dinner and drinks. We got there right as the place was opened and was hoping for a relaxing evening . That being said the staff was too attentive. The waitress constantly trieed to remove out food and drinks before we were done. I understand that a Friday night... More

Attended the Calamari Cook-off in Narragansett on Saturday and PJ's surprised us with the calamari. Started off with the Greek, then the Asian and finally the calamri with squid ink risotto (awesome!). It's interesting that a lot of us Narragansett residents don't always have PJ's at the top of our list, but every time we go there we have a... More

The service was great and the prices were fair considering the time of the year and the atmosphere. All the meals came out at the same time and looked great except for the 2 fish and chips plates. Both were dark brown and VERY over cooked. How hard is it to burn french fries? The portions were more than adequate.... More

Quick summary: the wide variety on the menu will please almost anyone. Prices not cheap but moderate and reasonable for the high quality. Friendly, attentive professional service. Our group of 5 adults put the menu through its paces -- we ordered small and larger plates of seafood, pasta, pizza, and salads. I recommend splitting any of the starters or salads... More

Oh how I wish we had late night restaurants at home, but PJ's to the rescue while on vacation. After a night out with friends, we hit PJ's around 10:30 and I was surprised their full menu was available. We had a bowl of Lobster Bisque, which was scrumptious and a Greek Salad. The salad's dressing was wonderful but I... More

PJ's has been one of our go to places for several years when we stay in Narragansett. This year was a real disappointment. Not only are the prices higher than last year, the quality of the meals have decreased and they put up with loud foul language from thei barroom patrons. My wife ordered a Greek salad with salmon. The... More

Never been disappointed with this place, staff always on top of everything, helpful with menu selection and lot to select from, never a wait to eat, but parking is tough.

We had one of the best meals of our vacation at this lovely pub. The food was excellent, and the staff friendly and attentive, even the Manager came to see if we were enjoying our meal. Thanks PJ's.

As a restaurant, this place is solidly 3 stars and with minor tweaks could be one of the best in Narragansett. (As a pub it appeared to be doing quite well based on bellies at the bar.) The menu is large and interesting: appetizers, meats, pastas, seafood, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Calamari is recommended. Artichoke dip is also good BUT it... More
