Even though their prices went up this year it is still a place worth going weekly especially during the summer months. Selection is somewhat limited but everything they do serve is excellent. Their clam chowder, clear or creamy, fried clams, clam cakes and calamari are particularly good. Portion sizes are good and service is very good. I prefer the shack... More

Try their fried clam roll or clam chowder and calm cakes. Old Newport beach front hangout. Also try the original Flows on Island Park in Portsmouth.

I admit, I was hungry, so I went for the Fisherman's plate without realizing, it was ALL fried. I never finished the plate, way too much fried in there. There are other items on the menu not fried, go for those, I certainly made the mistake. Long lines to order at meal times but you're on vacation. Draft beer was... More

My wife loved it. Great food , a little expensive but i will say best french fries i have ever had. Would come back just for the french fries. Parking is tricky and i have only been in the off season.

Just called Flo's and got recording saying they're closed for the season, a little earlier than it said on their website. Sorry to not get there one more time for 2016! 😔 Have to wait until next March.....

All you can eat crab legs are a great deal. Check or call them to find out the special day. Views of the ocean. Cheap beers.

My wife and I recently visited Newport for our 40th anniversary (2nd honeymoon). In researching the trip, Flo's came up as the place to get great fried clams. They did not disappoint! My wife got the fried clams and I got the fried seafood platter. Both were delicious, although I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach. We tried... More

If you've never been to a clam shack, give Flo's a try--it's the real thing. Fancy is prohibited--you order, you pick up, you grab a table, and you love the food, and that's an order. Two floors (upper has a nice view), not much parking,I had whole belly fried clams, and while I have had better (I've been around these... More

Seriously I've never been as full as I was when I left Flos that lunchtime. We had a small chowder each (10/10) and then shared the Fishermans platter. Lordy lord. If you go just have one dish each. You've been warned.
