Gallon of soup for $15 take out! Soup is about the best around, by the time you get to the end of it you need to add some broth, it's that thick with stuff

Even knowing the general location, it may be difficult to find but once you do, you'll be pleased with the at home feel and delicuous menu offerings

I stopped by today for a quick lunch but left before eating. There was no one to greet you as you came in so I sat at the bar with one gentleman that was eating. I waited for what seemed like 5 minutes and started to leave when a bar maid asked me if I was sitting down or what.... More

When the Italian locals are lined up out the door, you know you've found a hidden gem. Unless you are absolutely famished, tell the server that you want your soup 'to go', and you'll have a delicious lunch the next day too. I have a hearty appetite, but can rarely finish the main course, much less the soup as well.... More

I adore this place because if it's simple, legit, delicious Italian fare. Yes, the Soup is to die for and you can get it to go! The delectable sauces as well! Fees like I'm eating at someone's grandmas house! All served up in a small, cozy, kitschy, unfussy atmosphere! Each time I'm in the area, a visit to this gem... More

We only had one night in Cranston, and we wasted it on Macera's. Service and atmosphere was great, but the food was disappointing. Even the most basic marinara sauce was bland, with little hint of seasoning.

Six friends for dinner. The Calamari appetizer was much better than average. Rings were cooked perfectly and blended great with the hot peppers. My dinner was the Veal Casserole which included veal, eggplant, mushrooms, red peppers and marinara sauce topped with mozzarella cheese, It came with salad and pasta. It was excellent and there was enough left over for me... More

Excellent Italian food. Great service in a cozy, friendly atmosphere. Had escarole and beans. It was terrific. Had an arugula salad with grilled chicken and grilled portobello, was to die for. Been here in Cranston for 30 years and I guess that's the reason why. Go early it gets crowded.

My wife and I have been here a couple of times for lunch. Especially good was their house salad and dressing, eggplant parmesan and lasagna. Their soups are outstanding, as well. The atmosphere is cozy, and the waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had a gift card for Olive Garden, and we went there a few weeks ago. The food... More
