I love the idea of a tea house, so already biased, but the scones here are very good and afternoon tea is authentic. I was even advised as to whether clotted cream goes on before or after jelly, which depends on geography, apparently. There is...More

I ordered a curry chicken salad wrap, and thought it was very mediocre. The wrap material tasted stale. The tea was wonderful, but I wouldn't eat lunch here again. I enjoyed seeing the place, and would not return.More

I brought my friend here from Kansas and she absolutely loved it. This was her first time to a "tea house" and she actually looked to see if she had tea houses near her in Kansas.

The service is kind but VERY slow. The food is delicious (except for the soups, for some reason). The tea sandwiches and scones are AMAZING. They have all the flavors of tea you could want (and more). It's small, and reservations fill up fast, but...More

The restaurant is small, so reservations for peak times are recommended though not required. They pay attention to their food so dishes are very tasty and nicely seasoned. We had the curried Cauliflower salad (a nice surprise with dates and almonds); a delicately balanced carrot-ginger-orange...More

I've been going to Taste of Britain for decades. It's a great place for singles couples, and small parties of 4-6. The scones are delicious, quiches are all homemade. It's where I learned to love Stilton, Double Devon cream, & Jam! Christmas time's my favorite!...More
