the food is actually above average but too many irish drunken immigrants that are hard to understand even when sober because of their brogue.still it is better than most local dives in the area.

It's a nice place for brunch. Sometimes it's hard getting a parking spot. The food is very good. Never went in the late evenings. That's more for the younger age.
Being very convenient down the street, we visit for the food, friendliness of the owners, Mr. & Mrs.Cawley. They greet patrons when it is their first or 50th trip to Cawley's with their Irish Brogue. Very clean, servers are excellent in manners; does not rush....More
The bartenders only give attentive service when Mr. Cawley is on site! Would go there more..... If the owner is there because then I know I will receive great service.
