Party for eight and yes I know it was over the holiday season but it seemed like they only had two servers on duty and they were clearly over-worked. Drink orders were slow and they must have also been stressed in the kitchen. The food...More

I have been going to Tlacuani for many many years, back when it was La Covina. Went there recently again and had a great dinner for all three people. Very nice staff also. Best chili rellenos in the East Coast.

It was very quaint inside but the food was average. I ordered a mango margarita to try something summery and it was a glass of juice basically over ice. I tasted no tequila at all. I have had many margaritas at many places and I...More

Came here on a date and the atmosphere was so fun! Live mariachi band walking around, platters of delicious food for a good price, and good drinks! Outdoor patio when the weather is nice.

tlacuanimexicanrestaurant.com Great authentic Mexican Restaurant! Plenty of parking, with outside seating and two bars. Food was excellent and the decor reminded me of the restaurants in Puerto Penasco. Service was good too.

The food was delicious and, I assume, reflected the type of cooking found in the owner's home region in Mexico, because it was different than the standard Mexican fare at American Mexican restaurants. Go on a night when they feature a very talented mariachi band...More

Have visited her many times over the last 15 years. Depending on time of day and day of week and cook on duty, food is seasoned and prepared fresh. Unfortunately, consistency seems to be an issue. Pricing is average for other mexican restaurants in area....More

Had the $ 7 lunch special chicken enchilada. Everything was dry: rice, beans & enchilada could have used a lot more sauce. Chicken was mostly dark meat. Odd salsa, more like chow chow & odd dip served with tortilla chips. Just OK.
