It is great to know we can rely on Otto's when we want to take friends out to eat. There is something for everyone and the staff makes us feel very welcome. Of course our favorite day is Wednesday when they have Vegetarian and Vegan specials for lunch and supper. Even desserts from Spruce Creek Bakery lets us vegans enjoy... More

If you live in the State College area, then you know about this place. If your passing through I would recommend trying this place. Beer snobs look out !!! Otto's has many local brews on tap including many of which they brew in house. The current location was the old Quaker Steak n Lube. The bar is open and does... More

On the night Penn State won a big home game football we managed to get in after a long drive. Two big pluses two minor negatives. - I had entree salad. The menu said "ENTREE HOUSE SALAD (Vegan) Mixed greens topped with roasted corn, cucumbers, radish, cherry tomato, and green peppers" Not impressed. Hungry and tired, I just wanted to... More

I try to eat at a different State College restaurant every time I visit my son at Penn State. Otto's has been my favorite so far. Server was extremely friendly & knowledgable. Casual atmosphere and we were able to enjoy the NFL game while eating dinner. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a cup of bean & sausage soup... More

Had lunch there yesterday with my wife, son daughter in law and two grandchildren. The food and service was some of the best we ever had. Can't beat the menu. Grandkids go crazy for the Mac and cheese. Wife loves the turkey hero. Son goes for the roast beef and daughter in law grabs the steak and cheese nachos. I... More

Stopped in for a pre-game lunch. The food was excellent. The service too. But they brew their own beers. Fabulous. And they distill there as well. Although we only had the beer. Large place. Lots of room and staff. Especially during a game day ( Penn State nearby). A must visit when in the area

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon. We were sat right away. The menu has a nice variety- definitely a nice change from road trip fast food. We had the quesadilla appetizer and it was a nice size! We also had a burger and the roast beef sandwich. Very tasty. The crab cake tasted like we were in Maryland! The only... More

We had dinner at Otto's. There was a large selection of their beers to choose from. They are happy to let you taste a sample of a beer before making a choice. The food was good as well.

Enjoyed a quick and delicious lunch with my son and his friend last Friday. This restaurant is always busy, but worth the wait. Their food is fresh and local and it shows! The guys had delicious burger platters, and I had a wonderful bowl of soup. Service was quick, choices were varied with something for everyone. Ottos is one of... More

My co-worker and I were traveling to Harrisburg and decided to try this restaurant. When we arrived the place was packed and we were on an hour wait. We chose to sit at the bar but couldn't find two chairs together so we decided to leave. On the way out we noticed a second bar and some empty chairs so... More
