Having been to the Old New York recently and have to say that it does not meet the level of food as the Carnegie Deli on NY where I have had lunch many times over the years. I would recommend one of the downtown State...More

Looking for a good place on a busy crowded in town weekend. Although the location is a bit odd for a decent place we stopped. Everything was pretty good, like an upscale pub/tavern type menu. Fairly price comparatively for the area. Open clean atmosphere.

Olde New York is a fairly good size restaurant with a great looking bar. We were somewhat disappointed because the good recommended meals that we had heard so much about we're only served after 4 PM!! We arrived at 2 PM. We had an OK...More

Everything I have ever sampled here is awesome. They do authentic German food, but don't miss the buffalo calamari!

Stopped with a friend who is married to a German. We had Hunter's schnitzel, which he tells me was as authentic as that he has had in Germany. Schnitzel was humongous, served with spaetzel and cabbage. I only ate about one third of my platter...More

I'm not a big fan of the location, I do miss when it was Shnitzels in Bellefonte, but the food makes up for it. The Jaegerschnitzel was my fave (when I was still eating pork) and is also a fave of everyone in my family....More

We heard about the Olde New York from a colleague and decided to try it. I was happy to see that the German brots and other meats are made in house. Our food was great and it was a nice portion. It seems to be...More

Enjoyed the sandwiches, nice to sit by a warm fire (even if it is gas) on a cold day, great service, very attentive, large portions. Try the fish taco wrap with the potato salad.
