Always a stop when we visit . If you forget to bring your own cooler you can get one at the creamery along with the dry ice to get you home with frozen ice cream . So they are very allergy sensitive . Ask behind the counter and they will change their gloves and open a new ice cream with... More

The Berkey Creamery is the most awesome ice cream I've ever had! I don't even know where to start picking a favorite flavor. They are all incredible! If you have never been here; make plans to do so. If you are visiting Penn State University or State College Pennsylvania don't pass on this.

Yes...best real ice cream ever....I've had several varieties, my fav coconut chip and peachy paterno....only thing I can't stand...no mixing flavors for double dips, I know it's tradition, but come on, 2017 is calling...at least in bowls!!?

Great ice cream, and a good gathering spot for students/visitors to grab lunch or a snack. Kind of combines a convenience store with famous Penn State ice cream. For tea drinkers, I was pleased to see they have Harney and Sons teas:-)

The ice cream here is enough for a meal. A decadent meal. This is an iconic spot we take all company to.

This was my first visit there in 40 years since I had been a student there. I took the family for the quality of the ice cream in the experience. Like many other things it has moved to a new bigger modern location. Many years ago it offered high quality ice cream at a more than reasonable price because it... More

This is a must when at or near PSU. You just can't get ice cream like this from anywhere. Their ice cream has a rich, smooth, creamy texture, with loads of flavor. Enjoyed it so much we bought some to bring home. Do yourself a favor!

This ice cream is a high fat treat that cannot be purchased in any grocery store. Peachy Paterno is my all-time favorite. I've tried other flavors and they are good ice cream but nothing I would absolutely rave about. But if you like peach ice cream, this is the best I have ever found! It is a required stop anytime... How could you not love ice cream made my students? If at PSU, stop have a shake, a bowl of ice cream. It won't disappoint.

If you want the best ice cream you have ever tasted, stop in. The only problem is deciding which flavor (may have to visit a couple of times). My husband and I married in the chapel on campus in April 2010 and held our reception at the Hilton Garden Inn. Our only request was for ice cream from the creamery... More
