We ate dinner here the first night of our three-night stay (birthday weekend). Mostly empty dining room (was 8pm), which is always a downer. One guy wasn't wearing a jacket -- made me wonder if they'd get more business if they did away with the jacket requirement. Boyfriend ordered the wagyu beef, even after the waiter -- who thought he... More

We take every comment very seriously as it is by recieving such reviews that we may strive to improve upon our services. The menu at The French Manor was phenomenal. As a group, we had numerous dishes off the breakfast and dinner menus. The only dish that was disappointing was the squab & only because it was difficult to eat! All the dishes were exquisitely prepared and seasoned . . . at breakfast everything from the coffee cake to the asparagus &... More

Went for dinner . Beautiful property but service and food were not really that good . Isaac waiter is very awkward and surely not what I expect at a $100 per person dinner . Food was average at best my short rib was tough and tasteless my wife's ribeye have had better at Ruth Chris. The pumpkin creme brûlée was... More

Had the Elk Wellington, Butternut squash soup to start, with Squab for entree's. All were perfect. Sit on the terrace for a glass of wine or dinner if the weather is good.

Our dinner was simply amazing! We started with the foie gras, then I had lobster bisque and hubby had carrot ginger bisque. Both soups were terrific. I had the prosciutto wrapped salmon with corn and lentil salad for my main, and it was superb. Hubby had the monkfish and really enjoyed it as well. We finished by sharing the tiramusu.... More

We came here as it was close to where we are staying. We had the loveliest dinner, both the setting and the food were excellent. It was a Thursday night so it was pretty quiet and when we arrived there was only one other party in the dining room, Suzanne the hostess suggested we sit on the patio and we... More

Wonderful with the exception of the lady serving the drinks and taking the drink orders. Very unpleasant and cold. Seemed appalled we had never heard of the one wine before and just overall put a damper on a VERY expensive and otherwise wonderful meal for our first anniversary.

We enjoyed an absolutely lovely dining experience on the terrace of the French Manor on Saturday evening. The view of the valley is very relaxing. The service was very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. We both enjoyed our appetizers. I had a lamp lollipop with mint pesto and my husband had lobster bisque soup. For dinner, we both had... More

Classic French menus are hard to come by, but if you're looking for one look no further than The French Manor. Some caviar to braised scallops, the menu will not leave you disappointed. Visiting the Poconos, you have to visit The French Manor.
