Food was great and everyone was friendly. Only complaint is that my table waited for over 15 minutes for drink refills.

My daughter had her wedding here late March. Owners were really great to work with, staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostess on duty while we were setting up kept checking on us and got us a server so we could have lunch while getting ready. Beautiful fire place was a great backdrop to the ceremony. Room comfortably sat... More

Very clean, good food, great service. Soups were great. Salad bar, very good. Desserts very good. Heard some bad reviews but checked it out ourselves and have to say it was very good. Home style cooking. Not heavily seasoned.

Feel bad giving three stars, but the meal was just okay. Service however was excellent. New decor was kind of plain, like newlyweds buying a new home and not having any money for furniture. Recipes seemed the same as old ownership. A better review would need hotter food at the buffet and some kind of decor to give the place... More

The Oakhurst is finally undergoing a decades-overdue renovation! Gone are the tattered tablecloths, the captain's chairs from the 1970's, the sad little gift shop, the stained ceiling tiles and most importantly, the moldy smell that permeated everything in the place. The new owners are obviously addressing these fundamentals and while i hope that they maintain the buffet, i think there's... More

You had the option of a menu or buffet. There was a bar area and also private meeting rooms, and a souvenir area/crafts area. Food was very basic and not outstanding. Service was ok.

Had not been to Oakhurst Tea Room for over 25 years.Suggested it to my best friend as it was always very good so we took the drive from Pittsburgh to Somerset for an early dinner. We arrived around 3pm to find the lot empty but went inside and was informed that the dinner buffet began at 4 so we could order... Buffet food was tasteless, cold & questionable as to what was being served. Some items you would have no idea what they were as nothing was labeled. When in line constantly heard remarks from patrons as to "What is this?" when looking at certain items. Response was" questionable stew" from others in line with a laugh while spooning thru the mess... More

Although the idea is there to have a good variety of food for low cost, I think the key to coming here is timing. I arrived about an hour before closing and the turkey roast was rather dry. I was able to make a meal of mashed potatoes and bread and a little sausage, but overall the food was not... More

What a huge disappointment! Gordon Ramsey where are you!!! Seriously, this was my moms favorite place to go in the mountains. Haven't been in 20+ years. We got the Sunday Brunch and the roast, the potatoes and the sauerkraut and pork weren't bad. The chicken gravy was yellow and salty, the salad choices were ok overall the desserts were fine...
