We had a great breakfast here. Our waiter was real nice and efficient. Food was delicious and just what we were looking for. It seems small from the outside but there is plenty of room inside and it had nice decorations!

Our family of 4 went to Mal's for breakfast on Oct 8th. The waiter was personable fast, friendly and efficient. They are offering many pumpkin choices for breakfast right now. The woman next to me ordered them and said they were fantastic. I had the French toast which was delicious. My son got the waffles and ice cream and it... More

We had a wonderful breakfast. Our waitress pleasant and the perfect level of attentiveness. Food was hot and good. The restaurant is darling. Kinda like the 50's but upscale. Decorated for Fall, our creamers were inside little pumpkins. So cute. Plenty of seating, there is also a dining room in the rear.

Went to Mal's on September 11, 2016. They got the order incorrect. Overcharged us by almost double on credit card and assured us it was "fixed." Called credit card company and it was NOT. Returned to Mal's. Staff argued that we were wrong and the charge was not "finalized" therefore, was not on the credit card. After they spoke to... More

Visited on Labor Day for breakfast. Long wait for our food. Wait staff was less than friendly. Food was not impressive. Will not be returning.

Sat. Morning 10 am visit. Seemed busy but definitely not overwhelmed. Service - terrible our server seemed to busy elsewhere, so another took out order. From that point on, I'm not sure if they knew who was handling our table. Could not get anyone's attention to get a second cup of coffee in an hour. Food - OK - diner... More

Huge portions so go hungry, but, on weekends prepare to wait. Very crowded. Servers seem to get overwhelmed and need more support. But, they have always been friendly and worked hard when I've visited.

Only 2 other patrons in the diner when we arrived. Menus issued quickly. Ordered Philly mushroom cheese steak. My FIRST time with Philly steak. Awesome! 5 stars here! The waiter must have thought I was from Mars when I raved the cheese steak!

I got a nasty impression her behave I found a long piece of thick hair in the cheese steak. I told her but she didn't even say sorry. Rude and weird! It could be ok... More

Visited Mal's recently for the first time for lunch with friends. Greeted and seated promptly, staff friendly but preoccupied, very warm and cozy atmosphere in a converted historic house. The menu was creative and diverse, not your typical diner greasy spoon. The "wrap" I ordered was good, but nothing special for the price. The "herbal" tea was Lipton. The other... More
