Stopping in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch the Brewpup was not very crowded. They have a nice selection of craft beers which most everyone would find likeable. Having numerous appetizers and sampling each one, the Hummus Tapenade,Cheddar Ale Dip, and the Veggie Corn Cake were all very good. The sandwiches were equally as good. The Buffalo Po'Boy was spicy... More

Food and service was excellent. All the items on the menu read amazing so I had a hard time choosing. The gentlemen behind bar recommended the Ribs, they were very good...smoky, sweet, and tangy. Hubby had the Jambalaya.

We were a group of 6 guys staying at the nearby Wyndham Shawnee Village Resort and stopped here for lunch. Food was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal (and beer). We had 2 Cheddar ale Cheesesteak, 2 Gem burgers, pulled pork, and a quesadilla. We would recommend all of them! They have a small beer list with local brews from the... More

Had a nice dinner there but service was slow but it was convenient as it was on the grounds of the hotel. Would like to try other places to eat the next time I visit

Always a good bet here, surprised how quiet since the ski hill was packed. Nice variety of choices all served well

After a day of demanding physical activity, nothing hits the spot like Gem and Keystone's cheddar beer spread on their pretzels, followed by the cheddar beer spread cheesesteak. I load up with the greasy goodness and feel energized to go out and do more skiing the next day. I have not figured out how to replicate their amazing cheddar beer... More

We came here after a day of sledding. They were out of vegetarian chili, prime rib cheese steak, and moscato due to "the holidays". No specials again due to "the holidays". My husband asked for a drink they made it wrong and didn't acknowledge his request to hold the croutons. For the price it wasn't worth it. I had the... More

We have been there a few times, an have found their food to be very good. Service has always been attenative and timely. Prices are a bit on the high side, but portions have been good. Salads, crab cakes and burgers very good. Nice bar, dining on two levels plus a patio when weather is nice overlooking golf course and woods.

Was there for dinner and we waited an extremely long time for appetizers and burgers with no explanation or apology. Ordered appetizers as we sat down and received them 35 mins later. Dinner took another 40 mins and it was just 2 cheeseburgers. Overall the food was ok but not good enough to compensate for the long waits and poor... More

Restaurant was backed up which is understandable, but waitress did not really communicate anything and just made us wait. Please remember a little customer service goes a long way.

Thank Mark C

The Gem and Keystone Brewpub's menu features special bounty produced from the rich soil along the Delaware River from our own private Shawnee Island Farm™ (in season). Using local produce, all natural meats, PA farmstead cheeses and sustainable seafood, which match the Shawnee mission of reducing our carbon footprint and encouraging a healthier lifestyle. We use oak wood to fire our grill and offer vegetarian and gluten free menu options. We are a scratch kitchen, so our sauces, dressings and desserts are all made in house. Our restaurant is the official home of ShawneeCraft(R) artisan beers---handcrafted and brewed on the premises for your refreshment; we also have a reputable wine list along with a broad cocktail and martini menu. Conveniently located on the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort property, our outdoor dining is second to none with its breathtaking view of the Pocono Mountains. Reservations are recommended on the weekends.
