I eat here quite regularly. Very good food. If you want something that is not on the menu or made a special way, the staff bends over backward to try to accommodate your wishes. One of the few local establishments that makes grits, and not from a packet.

A large group of us stopped in for breakfast with out of town visitors from Africa. Two of us ordered the "sweet and salty" French toast which was fabulous!! It was topped with honey butter and crispy crumbled bacon. $6.95 Another had the western omelet and another had the sausage and cheese omelet. Unlimited coffee/tea refills. We paid for 4... More

Went to Lions Pride for dinner on a Friday evening at 7:30, with family including three children. The restaurant was busy and we ordered beverages. After 10 minutes we ordered our food. The waitress brought us very delicious warm rolls which was very welcomed especially by the children who were hungry by that time. Our waitress kept coming by our... More

8 of us women stopped in for our monthly "dinner night out". This mont, Lions Pride was chosen as the restaurant. I had a juicy hamburger, fries and salad. The salad was large and fresh. Ice tea and an ice cream sundae finished my meal. Total before tip was $17 Others had the chicken Parmesan (which is huge and always... More

A very friendly wait staff, serving great "American Style" food in s clean, nice setting. The prices are around $10.00 for most dinners, breakfast is huge, and deserts fresh!

The service at this establishment is slow, even when they have more servers than customers. The hostess spends much of her time texting and socializing in the kitchen rather than taking care of customers waiting to pay of R waiting to be seated.

Lions Pride is a great local restaurant. Its clean, large inside to accommodate groups, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant clean. The menu has alot of variety to choose from. I chose the Hot turkey sandwich and hubby had the roast beef dinner. Service was FAST. We had only eaten 1/2 of our salads when the main... More

I admit, I was skeptical as when restaurants offer holiday meals the service is typically slow, food is dry or lukewarm, or the place runs out of food. Not so with the Lion’s Pride. We each had a turkey (both white and dark meat) dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing (filling) baked pineapple, cranberries, etc. We had to ask... More

We wanted to go to Great America Saloon but it was a 1 hour wait, so we tried out Lion's Pride and got seated right away. I'm not sure why more people weren't here. Our server promptly got our drinks and warm rolls for the table. I had the special - mac n' cheese and stewed tomatoes and it was... More
