When visiting family in Reading, we always have breakfast here. Ttne Egg Benedict is outstanding. One of my favorites. Coffee and homefries are always good too. Service is fast and staff is friendly.

Awesome food for little money. Service is great and food is served at lightning speed. My husband and I try to get there once a week. We love the food and the waitresses are awesome.

You just can't do better than the West Reading Diner for traditional breakfast fare. Stay away from anything that supposedly features "homemade brown gravy". For at least the last three years, that stuff has looked about as "homemade" as the contents of a baby's dirty diaper and about as appetizing. I've mentioned it to them more than once, but they... The price was very good the salad bar & breads were good the main entrée was not very good. The steak was very over seasoned the fish was not fresh. Don't think i would return any time soon.

We went here for breakfast Sunday morning. I ordered cream chipped beef, which came our as an inedible blob of thick white goo. The toast was barely toasted. Only redeeming thing was the very nice server.

Great little old diner - cheap breakast that doesn't skimp on quality or quantity. Between 2 of us we had an omelet and stuffed french toast. Both were very good. Service was great and cost was very cheap!

This diner offers just what I expected. Good old fashioned diner food. The food was fresh and hot when it arrived at our table and I was pretty good. The menu is pretty large too. Just be careful when ordering. We paid 2.29 a piece (or thereabouts) for our sides of cottage cheese and applesauce ...we could have gotten the... More

Stopped in for a dinner visit as it was walking distance to my hotel. Pleasant staff and quick service offering a very extensive menu. My meal included the salad bar - but I passed on that - nothing very appealing for me there. Entree of grilled smoked sausage over filling with gravy was tasty, but the sausage had an unusual... Ordered scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese , golden hash browns , and rye toast . I would have ordered their corned beef hash too , but they don't make it there , so I passed . The service was friendly and the restaurant clean , though the food was nothing special .

As with many diners, this place oozes nostalgia. Dessert case right inside the door, large counter seating, mirrors & polished aluminum cover the walls. Triple D playing on the tv seemed quite fitting. Food was what I expected , good classic food but nothing jumped out as being extraordinary.
