Good food. Friendly service. Awful water! I wouldn't drink it! Usual diner fare prepared well. We stopped for a late breakfast and we're happy with our meals. Would recommend for a family or if you're traveling on a budget. We went off season; I imagine it gets very busy in February!

While staying at a bed and breakfast, we asked our hostess for a recommendation for a place to have dinner. One of the places she mentioned was Punxy Phil's, We decided to try it as we didn't know the area and it was closest. It looked to be a clean, family restaurant and the food and service and prices were... More

Not only is the food here amazing, but the people who work there are all kind and treat you like family. It is clearly a hang out spot for locals. It seemed like everyone knew everyone else in the place. But they also treat tourists kindly. I went for dinner and breakfast the next morning. When I went to pay... More

Nice local "diner-type" restaurant with good food and friendly service. I had an omelette, hash browns, and coffee and all were good. Poor server was overworked but was very good and pleasant the entire time. I would come back here again. Nice local non-chain restaurant with quality all around.

We ate here for lunch on a saturday, and breakfast on a sunday. Both times we were immediately recognized as not being local...lots of regulars here. I had the cheese sticks (amazing) and the homemade soup (delicious) as well as a chicken sandwich (just ok) - it came out wrong, but she fixed immediately. For breakfast, I had ham, hashbrowns... This place was adequate for the hungry crowd. I cannot imagine how many people are served the first week in February. The place was not crowded. The town was on the quiet side, understandably.

Punxsutawney doesn't have must to offer restaurant wise. That being said, this is about the best choice for breakfast out for travelers.

We stopped here due to being in town to see Punxy Phil, so it seemed appropriate to eat at a restaurant with the same name. As it was late morning, we all had breakfast dishes. They were all good and tasty. Only downside was that we had to hunt down our waitress at the end to get the check, but... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our roast beef sandwich and chicken club croissant . Very tender beef, friendly service, reasonably priced.
