Meal was great and the service was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu. Great experience! The bartender was personable and drinks were great! The crowd is mixed-not rowdy but fun!

There are restaurants that meet your expectation, there are others which surprise you, and then there are others that just blow your mind. Greystone Restaurant, in the quaint city of Pottsville will absolutely do the latter. In the twelve years that we have been patrons, not once has any meal, simple or elegant, missed the mark. Grey stone always has great food and attentive service. The bar area is lively and often has entertainment. Downstairs is quite and is perfect for a romantic dinner or just a great atmosphere to dine and chat with friends. steaks and Sea Bass are always excellent. Their Thai dish is my favorite

Waited 15 minutes at the door with reservations and weren't acknowledged except for the bartender. Told us the hostess was sitting someone. 15 minute later after seeing this woman walk around doing nothing she seated us with an attitude like we were inconveniencing her. Once we were seated we were told there was no more lobster tails. We order our... More

Likely the absolute best, fine dining experience available in Pottsville. And all of Schuylkill County for that matter. Our four entrees were all excellently portioned, superbly prepared, and full of flavor. Five out of five stars all around. Service was superb.

Music in the summer on the patio. Fantastic steak and the best raspberry komakazie I've ever had is my favorite things about the Greystone. But, bring your wallet. It's big city pricing.

The proprietor of the B&B that we stayed at recommended the Greystone. We had a great meal from the Pumpkin Ale and appetizers to the Filet and Crab dishes that we shared. Service and ambience were great!

We had a large group so we were in the upstairs room. Only one waitress who was wonderful considering she had 22 at two tables. My appetizer ( clams) was very good. Others said they liked the soup. My main choice was the fish and chips, the fish was not greasy and I liked the fries. They had a good... More

We arrived there at 8.20, but the restaurant menu was already unavailable. Luckily they had a pub menu (pub closes at 9pm). The menu itself is very simple (burger, fish and chips...) but the food was exceptionally well prepared. While we waited we received some home cooked bread that was excellent. It is quite uncommon to find such good bread... More
