Curry chicken and shoarma are both the best I've had. Prices are incredible and servings are huge. Try it, you won't regret it.

The quantity of great tasting food for this price is exceptional. We don't eat out often, but Salem's is the top of the list for when we do.
This place has tons of delicious Middle Eastern and Indian dishes with generous portions and fair prices. Very friendly and quick service. Also helpful is they're one of the few quality places open holidays without a reservation! Glad Salem's is here in Pittsburgh!
The worst thing about Salem's is trying to decide what to have. Delicious and plentiful meals served no-frills cafeteria style. Don't fret if you find a line, these folks are a well-oiled machine and get you served in no time. I love that I'll see...More
Salem's serves wonderful middle eastern food in a clean, unpretentious atmosphere. There's a vast array of dishes served cafeteria style in styrofoam containers. It's not fancy, but it is delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the clientele is a broad swath of colors,...More

The food is decent, works like a takeout restaurant in which you can sit and enjoy your food as well. Don't make your expectations high in decorations and the environment.
Working in the Strip District offers many options for lunch, but nothing raises ears more than "Anyone want to go to Salem's?" Between the cafeteria style items, to the burgers and gyros, their food is always on point and the Indian dishes are positively amazing....More
